Also read The Millionaire Fastlane now, after Unscripted , and I must say it's really soaking in now. I feel it burning. I am on this path now and I won't change back. I'm ready to get in to it, 1 year, 3 years, 10 years, of hard work. I don't care. This is it. Thanks MJ!

I've read this book a while ago. Didn't yet post in this thread for some reason. I feel like this helped shape a healthier perception of myself and what I wanted to be in this world. I like Unscripted a little more, but that's likely biased as I'm currently re-reading it at the moment. :)

Read it a week or two ago, great book, the best highlight for me are the 5 seedlings. This is probably the clearest explanation of how to create wealth when starting out as a one-person operation. Other books kinda skim over this or are too tactical (build up your Twitter followers! ....but *why??*). Long-term assets is vague, the examples in the book are excellent and started more of a thought process on how to create long-term passive income.

I've read it! I'm glad that I'm still young and have an open mind to fully absorb the materials and theories from this book! (My decisions still have a lot of impact as I age ;) )

How's it going I am a new member. I read the Millionaire Fastlane in under a day and a half. I wanted to give it a go before I wrote a letter on this forum. I am a 45 y/o father of twins. I have been a medic for over 16 years and after a few ventures over the years I have finally stepped off the sidewalk completely after reading that book. I had similar ideas and wants but lack the sack to get it done. The advice I had gotten from the book was the kick in the a$$ I needed to make idea into action. I am now a leader if my own direction and reality. I run a pretty popular educational / entertainment medical podcast centered around really great beer and doling out medical advice/ experience to emergency medical providers of any ilk, and have reader ship in 12 countries. I have started a apparel lifestyle brand around a population underserved by an activity that is played world-wide, and plan to fill that void. I have taken the leap from IN-action to Action and have hired a brand design artist for my company, awaiting proofs and flailing through a multi tiered marking plan. I am amazed to be scheduling my first of 2 public interactive events, hording content for social media outlets so there is no lapse in content and finally have narrowed down our purpose and plan for explosive growth within the marketplace. I have a great and purposeful business partner with experience, literal goals and exit strategy in the next 5 years. This is all possible in part to a ton of books that I read to get me going on this path. I have evaluated the people and probable outcomes using the WCC and WADM and found that it really did apply. I feel confident and in control found a decent entry and believe the time will be well worth the suck. Was everything I read the end all of be all, we'll see. I know that I have a very different perspective going forward than I did last month.

Just finished the Audible version of the Fastlane book while doing my morning run.
This book has troubled me in a good way. I started questioning my decisions and got overwhelmed.
I feel better now but will re-listen to some chapters as I need to get a better understanding. This book is a mine of information. It has been very revealing.
Truth can hurt at first but if we stay open to it, it makes us grow!
This is my intention towards it.
One positive side I do have though, is the entrepreneur attitude, even if it's not still successful, I feel right at home with the uncertainty because to me, it's an open door to the possibility of more. Just need to figure things out better.
I feel I'm at the right place!
Now that I discovered M. J. DeMarco wrote another book, I know what I'll be reading next!
Thank you M. J. DeMarco for this great contribution to the world!

Been reading up on some personal finance books/blogs/articles etc to get a better grasp on all the concepts (e.g. The Richest Man in Babylon, Rich Dad Poor Dad, The Latte Factor, Passive Income Inspiration, ...). And although interesting and applicable by "the masses", @MJ DeMarco really opened my eyes that these teachings and tactics really just keep you in the slowlane. Not a place I want to be in!

TMF has shook up my understanding of creating wealth. It's not particularly about getting rich for me, but about becoming wealthy, which to me is characterized by freedom. Freedom of time, freedom of location and freedom of money.

The biggest take away to me is the mindset of evaluating next endeavors (entrepreneurship, investing) in terms of scalability and value creation with unlimited and controllable variables! Everything which is possible to turn into a repeatable and automated system should be done so!

Now, out to make the most of our limited time here! Thanks for a fantastic read and insights @MJ DeMarco . So happy you made the fastlane as well with this book, and by doing so are the mentor so many of us needed!

Best regards from Brussels,
Colin Verhaegen

The best book on entrepreneurship I've read !!
I can't tell you how much TMF is changing the way I approach life, not just business. So thankful for MJ DeMarco and all the wisdom that he's past along to us. My dream is to be truly wealthy - quality familial relationship, wholistic health, and freedom. Eager to learn from everyone!
Easily the top influential book ever.

Great to hear it!

Going to buy a box of them xmas time and give them to friends

Thank you for spreading the message!

I have come across this book already about 7 years ago while reading the 4 hour work week. The Millionaire Fastlane is so much better (almost done reading) but I guess, I was not yet ready for it prior. Now, I am ready to 10x my business and will also start documenting it here. Thx MJ and to everyone here - this is really inspiring and motivating me a lot

Nice!

The Millionaire Fastlane is a must read for entrepreneurs.

I started a company 15 years ago and this book could have single-handedly saved me millions in mistakes. Must read for anyone serious about success.

Woo hoo!

I've recommended it to quite a few people already.

This book rates among the best five biz books I've ever read and am urging others to read it.
And recommended to entrepreneur friends.

Thank you!!

. I was introduced to the book by the mentor I had during an entreprenurial program I took up during college.

Please tell him I said thank you!

Read the book. One of the best reads I've had in a long time.
It is, without doubt, the best book I have -ever- read. And I've read many.

:)
