Hello guys, I'm orthega from Nigeria. I want to ask that if an SME(small medium scale enterprise) wants to supply a product to a supermarket, will I get paid immediately or I will leave the product with them an go later for the money.

Not sure how Nigeria works, but in the US I believe you have to wait for payment, perhaps 30 days or more.

I could be wrong, but that would be my guess.

It really depends on the customer you're dealing with. Some larger chains have long cycles(45/60/90 days), some smaller local and regional operations might be 2 weeks/30 net or perhaps even in rare cases COD or 1 in 1 out.

There are too many factors to consider to give a definite answer, product volume, the nature of the product(is it fresh, frozen, shelf stable, standalone display etc).
