Hey all,
before you go in on me for the title, I'm not asking anyone to do my job for me with this, I'm just looking for input from neutral parties.
I'm working on creating a brand of dog dental care treats/products and I'm afraid I might be blinded to whether or not there is a need. I have a dog who's had teeth issues, and believe me and everyone else I've talked to that it's a huge pain to brush a dog's teeth. I've researched what people's complaints are about the existing products on the market, because there are definitely solutions existing. I've seen a lot of "do what you love"-ers on etsy and similar platforms peddling similar recipes.
Am I wrong to think that if I go at this idea from the perspective of creating actual value for a dog owner with disposable income who wants the best for their pup, and if I market it in a way that isn't being done in that realm, that I'm not on the same plane as trust fund hippie dog boutique etsy folks?
