Man I don't know if I need to post a full thread but I got invited to go to a guru's mindset seminar over the weekend, plenty of decent mindset stuff but the dude forced us into groups and to try to start an entire business brand in under 3 hours and..........
we did it.
And by I mean we did it, we already had sales the first day after I set up the web store- we had a cracked guy who does videography by chance and he helped us film and edit some insta and tiktok reels which somehow got traffic almost instantaneously- and now the event is over but I'm still in comms with my group and we're trying to see how far we can take this.
Anyways, the main point is, within 3 hours we had a viable business that already took pre-orders for our product with REAL MONEY, and we hadn't even talked to suppliers yet, the guy who volunteered to run marketing whipped up some MVP images with canva and chatgpt and I whipped up some copy and ads copy after I set up the site.
Like, I've spent 7 years haunting this forum diddling around never doing anything... the secret F#@&ing sauce this ENTIRE time was in taking ACTION. Even the product selection wasn't hard, 3 of the guys were balding and one mentioned a product he had and wasn't happy with- so we built a brand around a dream product and the lead tasked one guy to hunt down suppliers and do competitor/science research.
Going to go beat my head against a wall and get back to work, hopefully this grows and it continues to be a valuable and then profitable experience. Before any mods think this is paid shilling, I will never name the guru and you can check my years of post history, I'm just still absolutely astounded how easily you can ram through the Bullsh!t with the right constraints and will.
