I am sure you all have a ton of ideas circulating so I would love to see how you decide your projects to work on.

Thanks for your time.

2 things - what I'm good at and what the market wants.

Easier said than done, but that's not an option on your list.

1.)I try to find flaws in existing businesses and find ways of fixing it right on my own.
2.)I start it because I want to, but that doesn't mean I completely ignore facts.
3.)Match up an idea with CENTS

Odd that the most important reason to start a business is missing. And that's why most people fail at it.

This would be me as well. I know there are problems out there I could still solve, but I definitely choose the ones that my skills are more apt to fixing.

I'll look at an existing business that customers want/need and that I think I already have the skills or can certainly get the skills to start.

I'll also then look to see if it's something I can do better that the people already doing it and find a way provide more value to the customers.

I do think the way you view businesses/projects to start changes over time as you get more acquainted with the process. So it's possible that someone over the course of their life will choose every option at least once.
