How did Mike Dillard get rich?

Mike Dillard is the creator of the Self-Made Man Podcast and other ventures.

I'm confused on how he got rich in the first place. He only mentions that he started in MLM.

Shouldn't think about it, chances are it won't be the way you get rich. Don't pay attention to others' success, find the next problem.

Obviously, I do care. Whether it changed my life or not, it shouldn't hurt. One can still find many lessons from other people's stories. Biographies are real life parables.

His first successful business was actually one product, a book called “magnetic sponsoring”, which taught people in the MLM industry to build their teams using attraction marketing rather than having to go out and hunt. Something along those lines. He sold a shit ton and people in that industry loved it.

Basically this is the answer for anyone who "got rich" -- they sold something that a shitton of people paid for. It doesn't get any simpler than that so we can probably stop posting these types of questions.
