Hi guys, and girls, i'm 37 and i've commited myself to change my life and having found this forum a few days ago made me realize that i can do it.
Right now i'm in a bad situation, due to this crisis my business didn't survive, clients ordering less, not paying in time and going out of business can kill a small business in no time. As they say "cash flow is king" and they are right...
So right now i'm late on my mortgage payments and just received the notice that if i need to pay what's overdue until January i have to leave the house.
On top of that i have a debt of about $60000 to deal with, my father-in-law just was diagnosed with cancer, my my mother called me today saying my father is losing weight fast and has passed out in the bathroom, meaning more health problems are coming.
So here i am trying to deal with all this issues and at the same time can't stop thinking in starting new businesses. My girlfriend and family want's me to get a job but my mind is in starting businesses. After a long time trying to get a programmer to partner with me i finally realized that i need to step up and make this work on my own.
I was a programmer in school so i just need to reacquire the skills i had 17-18 years ago.
Right now i'm learning PHP and MySQL to try and build some web apps that are hovering my head. I know how things work with SEO, google analytics, adwords, adsense, social media, etc, so this is not new ground for me...
I always liked internet and technology, got my first pc when i was 13 (1985, big deal in those times
), still remember that to compile a program in Clipper it took 2-3 minutes and now it takes .1 seconds lol.
The internet made me discover another world and my thirst for information hasn't decreased along the years. I still try to learn as much as i can about some subjects and try to read every book i can afford about entrepreneurship, business and self made individuals.
So to finish, i'm in a real important moment in my life and this forum will definitely help me turn things around.
