Haven't finished it yet, I'm just starting Chapter 24.
I'll be 22 in April. After high school, I volunteered abroad for a while, worked for a while, took a couple of classes at the local university, went back to work. I've decided to apply to university, at least to see what all the fuss is about. The Slowlane fills me with cold dread, but I just don't see another way. I've got about $1100 to my name.
I haven't seen any indication that I have sort of brain for inventing. StrengthsFinder says that ideation is one of my big strengths, but I just don't see myself as someone who thinks up better ways to do things, or comes up with gadgets that complement an existing one.
I've taken a first step. I'm putting together something called From My Back to Yours. It's a travel forum of sorts. It sells t-shirts, each of which has a unique code in the label on the back of the neck. You enter the code into the forum and introduce yourself. You go out into the world and pass the shirt on. Whoever gets your shirt enters the code into the forum, and you basically track the shirt as it travels on, meeting people along the way. It would be cool to expand into selling travel gear later on, but I'm just starting with the shirts for now.
Anyways, good to (sort of) meet you all.
