Men can be bartenders too, but they have to be (1) really good with women (like, the player type) and (2) really friendly to the men, to the point where they are giving them tips on how to get with women. A good male bartender will see a guy ordering a drink at the bar and tell him "There's a girl over across the way, tell her hi and offer her to buy her a drink. She's real cool, I think she'd like you". Bam: instantly, two drinks are sold right off the bat with more on the way.
