Should you focus on one thing and try to make it big, Put all the eggs in the basket and watch the basket? Or should you diversify? Have a 9-5, work a side job/try to start a side business? Invest money, and try to start a successful YouTube and tiktok account?

As a beginner entrepreneur, Is it better to go all in on one thing, or is it better to diversify into many?

Is it better to work 40-50 hours a week at 1 thing, or 100 hours a week at many?

1) Start by saying Yes. Scale by saying No.

2) Imagine you're a 2/10 beginner entrepreneur.
  • You spend 5 hours a week on 5 different niches.
  • How are you going to beat FIVE different 2/10 entrepreneurs each spending 25 hours in the 5 niches you're competing in?
  • You're not even competing with only five other 2/10 entrepreneurs in each of those other niches. You're competing against dozens or hundreds of entrepreneurs in each niche.
  • And some are 8/10 entrepreneurs in those niches.
  • So you're competing as a beginner against experts in FIVE different niches instead of just one?
  • And which 2/10 entrepreneur will likely become an 8/10 entrepreneur faster in each niche? The one spending 5 hours per week working on it or the one spending 25 hours per week working on it?
