Took me a couple days to digest all the things I heard. My takeaways: If you get to sit down with any of these guys, do it. It was well worth my time to get to hear what they had to say. I haven't had a live business in 2 years but the plans have been in the works, this week I'm making some important moves to make that change. Thank you all for the encouragement.
I've never been a supercar guy but hearing how passionate some of you are about your toys was eyeopening.

It's just lunch; there will be no whiteboards, no secret plans, no hidden truths revealed, no dancing on the tables by myself in full stripper regale... not sure a 2.5 hour drive is worth a sandwich.

Dangit! I was just in Phoenix and will be back there for a couple of weeks to job search starting 4/7 - (got a wife and 3 kids and a job is a short term necessity right now.) I'm from Chicago and living in Portland. I've had enough clouds and rain for a few lifetimes. The seed to move to to Phoenix may have been planted by a book I once read . . .

I will be there in spirit. I think I'm coming back to Scottsdale in July. I plan on bringing my fire-retardant heat suit so my body doesn't char after 3 seconds from being outside.

Yup, I've had experience there during lunch and it should be able to accommodate 10 or 15 people no problem.

@MJ DeMarco unfortunately found out I need to get some unexpected surgery taken care of (scheduled for this Friday)... really bummed out I have to miss this but I need to lay low until this stuff is all set.

Once I'm back on my feet again in a few weeks though definitely want to meet some of the fastlaners here in AZ that I haven't had a chance to meet up with yet.
