Embedding a google map

First, before you send me here- The Google Maps Javascript API V3 - Google Maps JavaScript API V3 - Google Code, I have already been there and I don't understand it, so I need someone to translate it to Dumblish for me.

I want to embed a google map on a web site that would dynamically update based on the visitors ip location but the term would be the same.

for instance, say the term is plumbers, and I want a google map embedded on my plumber page that will update and show plumber locations nearby to the person visiting my page,.

Does that make sense? Is it possible? (I am not even sure after reading the google page, too far over my head)
