SCROLL DOWN IF YOU WANT TO SEE LATEST PROGRESS

WEEK 1
This week was interesting. I had a huge mindset shift thanks to @heavy_industry, (after crying on this forum how hard entrepeneurship is lol)

Basically i was trying to be ULTRA PRODUCTIVE straight away. its like a skinny guy trying to bench 405 on his first day in gym, now my strategy is to allow bad habits but slowly each week reduce them and keep working more and more, i make sure to still push myself, but now its way different.

Im still learning to program. Right now its how to make apps using KIVY framework for python. I write everything in notebook so i dont have to watch the youtube tutorials again
for anyone interested in kivy language this tutorial is GOAT
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8Imtec4ReQ&t=1640s

Been skipping gym, i had testicle injury and my knees are F*cked from leg press so taking break seemed logical

Reading Unscripted , Bro this book is so good im very careful to who i recomend that book to lol. 11/10

Im extremly grateful for things i learned this week and for people i met on this forum, made me feel way less lonely.

Do the hardwork, especially when you dont feel like it.

You shouldn't be ashamed of those results, because you tried to achieve everything in the same week.

Write down all the good things/habits you want to get into and all the bad habits you want to get rid of and split all those things into 12 weeks (That's 3 months).

For example:

Week 1:
-Fix morning routine
-Read for 1h
Week 2:
-Practice piano for 1h per day
-Stop scrolling social media

Every week, you will start becoming better and better. After ~90 days, your day-to-day life will be completely unrecognizable.

If you try to get rid of something big, for example 3h of video games per day, then you must replace it with something else. For example reading books or going to the gym. If you don't, your life will have a 'vacuum' in it and you'll get really bored.

Good luck.
Copying this here since it might help you.

Also are you learning programming because it's required to execute on an idea or are you learning it because you don't have anything else to do?

Also sorry to hear about the injury, get well soon.

Thank you for the weekly goals idea! Just a quick question, lets say im addicted to alcohol, would be weekly goal be take less and less alcohol untill after 3 months im drinking none? Like progressive overload

About programming, its required to execute my idea, also saas is most sympatic to me because it has no shipping and logistics.

That's a great question. I personally recommend going cold turkey because if you slowly reduce it, you'll teach your subconsious mind that "alcohol is the forbidden fruit and life without it will be incomplete and you're missing out", even when it's not true and ruining your life.

Check out Allen Carr's book on alcohol. It's about reprogramming your mind to make quitting addiction willpowerless.

Best of luck slaying your dragons! :bicep:

WEEK 2
goals:
stretch each day DONE
meditate before sleep DONE
15 mins of reddit per day Failed
read how to win friends and influence people and implement it, Failed

  • Been programming like crazy, learned so F*cking much (Its only been 3 weeks, dang)
  • Focused, my day is come from school, program, scroll on this forum, sleep lol. super proud on myself
  • Ended up watching porn today tho
  • Trying to get my really good friend into fastlane entrepeneurship.
  • Finally exercised after all the excuses.
  • Building simple app in kivy framework.
  • I had testicle injury ( i stretched my balls too hard, please dont ask) so im really grateful it turned out okay.
10 / 10 week, despite porn and procastrination it was still way better than last week.

  • For anyone struggling with porn, the way i completely defeated is just by telling myself that: "no i dont watch porn, im a F*cking legend i dont watch porn, im not addicted" basically lying to myself. Even when today i did watch porn i kept telling it to myself and boom, the addiction is gone (not totally but u get me) Its way better than when i considered myself as someone with porn addiction. Because i changed my identity.

Plans for Week 3:
No porn
meditate before sleep
read and implement how to win friends and influence people
15mins of reddit (i made the habit harder, i have to do 20 pushups each time i wanna go there, making it more uncomfortable)
Talk to a stranger
Finish my beta version of app and keep learning.

  • ps: im extremly grateful for this comunity, you guys are so nice its mind-blowing. It made me realise that solving probems of others is cool and feels good doing so. Love yall, good luck on your journey!

You're very young and you're having a lot of energy that needs to be expended.

This can be your greatest asset, or your greatest burden, depending on what you do with it.

After you recover from your injury, I believe that the best course of action is to progressively add more and more physical exercise and turn this into a lifestyle.

Don't rely on discipline and willpower to go to the gym, but instead, start identifying yourself as an athlete. After a few months you will get heavily addicted to the gym and you will need discipline to abstain from overtraining.

Go get addicted to training, studying, working hard, and building businesses.

You don't believe it's possible?

Here is a brief summary of how my life looks like right now:
  • If I don't train for more than 1 week I start having withdrawal symptoms.
  • If I don't don't make constant progress in life I feel horrible.
  • Playing video games makes me suffer.
  • Watching stupid videos on youtube makes me suffer.
  • The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is to go to my desk and start working.

I'm not one of those idiots obsessed with "grinding", because I don't believe this is the key to success, but I've learned how to use my nervous system to work for, not against me.

I'm pretty sure @Matt Lee goes through the same "struggles" as me, especially when it comes to lifting weights.

Come post here instead of going on Reddit bro. If you need to use social media, make this forum your social media and remove everything else.

I guarantee you'll feel a lot better & find more helpful information here than if you doom scroll Reddit. You'll also become more well-written and read too.

An added benefit is you will start to feel lazy if you're not working when you read others putting in their work and you're doing nothing.

It's a better feedback loop than viewing Reddit and getting pissed or having comments live in your head rent-free ( written by people with are probably not happy with their life too)

WEEK 3

  • LESSONS LEARNED:
    1. You cannot fight your sexual energy in the long term.
      • When i was going to gym 5x a week, i never struggled w porn because i transferred that sexual energy into something.
      • You can resist the temptations but if you dont channel the energy u will gave in eventually.
    2. Your classmates != friends (does not equal)
      • just because youve been put into same concrete room as them doesnt mean they are your friends.
      • sure, they helped me when i was in my darkest times but now ive outgrown them and they are dragging me down.
      • growing sometimes mean leaving people behind
    3. Positivty is cool
      • I kept watching the sigma male / Andrew Tate trend, where feeling negative is cool while feeling positive is for weak.
      • I have ton of things to be grateful for, i should be happy for my progress so far.
      • doesnt mean i will stop using negativity, but since i learned this im way more productive and joyful.

  • My productivity dropped, i also watched alot of porn for the first 3 days. even fapped eventually. Now im channeling that energy into exercising again and i dont struggle with it.
  • I modified my saas idea, now im 3x more confident about it.
  • Still learning programming, i have no idea where to start to implement my ideas, so im just learning and mastering the basics.
  • Had fisiotheraphy, turns out i need to do more balance exercises to help my knee pain. well see how that helps

  • GOALS
    • meditate before bed DONE
    • 15 mins of reddit / day FAILED
    • No porn FAILED
    • talk to a stranger DONE (im huge introvert so this makes me proud)

  • GOAL FOR NEXT WEEK
    • 20 mins of procastrination / day (do 20pushups before u go on reddit or any platform)
    • talk to a stranger
    • Exercise every day, Balance exercises aswell!
    • spend 3 hours a day programming

do the hardwork especially when u dont feel like it

WEEK 3

Damn where do i start

  • LESSONS LEARNED:
    1. WORLD IS INNOVATED BY ENTREPENEURS
      • The reason why world progressess into better and better is because someone doesnt accept world as it is and wants to change it.
      • "The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man."
    2. PUSH YOURSELF AND BE DISCIPLINED
      • No one is gonna do it for you, i got really comfortable this week, not the best week..
      • Yes yes.. you need to change your identity, but still need to work on my discipline. Ive gotten really comfortable..
    3. SET CLEAR GOALS FOR YOUR WEEK / DAY
      • The reason i failed this week is because i forgot to track everything and i didnt really have a plan or to-do list to follow.
      • I always wrote down goals for next day but rarely looked at them again, next weeks focus is going to be on that.
    4. GROWING SOMETIMES MEAN LEAVING PEOPLE BEHIND
      • Im spending less and less time with my classmates, it kinda hurts because they are spending less and less time with me because of it. It hurts but its a sacrifise i have to make to progress further.
      • They helped me alot when i was in my darkest times and pulled me up, but now when im outgrowing them they are holding me back.
      • Because i leave them doesnt mean i dislike them, i love them, i really do. But we are now different people, with different goals.

  • Watched porn again, jerked off aswell (i never struggled with this so im really confused, maybe its because now im lonely as hell)
  • Finally back on track with exercising (not really i got sick at friday but i had really good back day)
  • Havent programmed much. To be honest i have no ideaa why my progress slowed down. Maybe its not powerful enough "WHY" i dont know...
  • Havent tracked any habits this week, havent set any goals, i think its the major reason why i failed so badly.
  • Listening to Kyle Keegan Radio Show and its 10 / 10 ive recieved so much value from those podcasts

  • GOALS FOR THIS WEEK
    • 20 mins of procastrination / day (do 20pushups before u go on reddit or any platform) FAILED
    • talk to a stranger FAILED
    • spend 3 hours a day programming FAILED
    • Exercise every day, Balance exercises aswell! FAILED

  • GOALS FOR NEXT WEEK
    • write down goals and read them every day!!!!!!!
    • 30 mins of procastrination a day
    • program 2 hours a day
    • read 10mins a day

Alright wish me probability lol

by the way anyone reading this ???

WEEK 4

  • LESSON 1 Be grateful for everything
  • After reading this thread by @DarkKnight I was left speechless. This guy went through absolute hell to achieve things im taking for granted.. Man its unfair i dont deserve this
  • It made me realise how fortunate i am, and how grateful i should be. How could i be complaining in my place, when DarkKnight was living in sulhur warehouse for 10 $ a month and getting jaundice 3 times a year from poisonous water. DarkKnight thank you for posting your story, it really helped me out, good luck on your journey!

  • LESSON 2 You are addicted to the internet
  • Long story short, internet stopped working for half of the day... And i was DEVASTATED, i had nothing to do, i never been so bored in life. Not like i had nothing to do, but i didnt need internet for what i was programming.
  • Next weeks goal is to be 1 hour per day on social media (its alot but im 100% confident i can do it, i set the bar too high this week)

  • LESSON 3 When starting out, flirt with all the ideas, then be a monogamist
  • After coming across this business idea evaluation thread and posting mine ranking, @Subsonic gave me clear objective feedback i needed to hear. Thank you Subsonic.
  • he pointed out alot of flaws the idea has, im still thinking about it but meanwhile i found 10x better idea.
  • I think its better to spend 2x more time on finding the right idea than sticking to a path for 7years that might not even work out

  • LESSON 4 Spend time with your family and put yourself out there.
  • I know you need to be focused and work restlessly, but in the end you will die anyway so, might aswell spend some time with my family so i wont deeply regret it (i do 1 day off every 3 weeks)
  • I never had a FTE only alot of FTM(moment), not like its an excuse but im still building the foundation.

  • LESSON 5 Put yourself out there
  • I expected to come up with the genius blockbuster idea that no one ever though of in comfort of my bed.
  • Of course its not gonna happen (i did came up with alot ideas but none of them seemed that great)
  • After spending day with my family and experiencing things, a brilliant idea stumbled inside my head. Im way more confident about this one.

Watched porn just once this week, PROGRESS !

It kinda hurts when my friends spend less and less time with me they were toxic so i feel no regrets.

Came across this thread by @Remiremi (how ENTP personalities get bored really quickly and get excited about completely new thing, and how to leverage it into advantage) and it perfectly suited me, i always wondered why i cant do required work and keep procatrinating. Now i got the answer, cant wait to start implementing it. Thank you for posting Remiremi

WEEKLY GOALS
  • Write down your goals and read them more often (done, but i havent noticed any big changes)
  • 30 mins of procastrination a day (ill set the bar lower)
  • program 2 hours a day
  • read 10 mins a day

NEXT WEEK GOALS
  • 1 hour of procastrination a day (setting bar low because i feel i can achieve it now)
  • Talk to 1 stranger
  • Program 2 hours a day
  • Exercise 4x this week, do balance exercises for the knees

by the way, for anyone reading this, for some reason i cannot edit the first post in this thread (posted by me) any ideas how can i edit it? Or can you edit your post just once?

Thank you for reading i really hope this has helped you :)

I'm glad to see that you're steering the ship in the right direction.

You're setting yourself up for success later down the line.

If it takes you 3 months to completely transform a bad habit (loser habit) into a winner habit, by the time you turn 20, you will have like 10 strong habits that will act as a solid foundation for your life.

Massive, massive, massive advantage.

In your 20s you will be like a genius, compared to your brain-dead, sugar-eating, phone-scrolling peers.

  • Do not get discouraged.
  • Do not give up.
  • Play the long game.
  • Time is on your side.

As for the gym, I would suggest that you completely forget about your goals and just fall in love with the process. Start seeing yourself as an athlete. Make it part of your identity. Train on a daily basis, with 1 day off for extra recovery.

This will pay off in ways you can't even imagine right now.

Keep lifting weights. Good things will happen.

WEEK 5

  • LESSON 1 How to feel in control of your distractions
  • after listening to diary of CEO ep 249
  • There was mentioned productivity method that worked wonders for me, basically each time you feel like getting distracted ( oh let me check email real quick ) you say to yourself. Im an adult and im in control of my distractions and i will check email in 10 (n) minutes. By adding progressive overload my focus has already increased by like 50%. It makes me feel in control, because i always felt like, oh no i want check e mail, oh no i want to check e mail, oh god im checking e mail im such a failure, with this i feel totally peaceful and focused.

  • LESSON 2 Build solid foundations
  • Instead of solely focusing on the fastlane business, i will be building foundations that will serve me later on, i will keep working on it, but hey if i cant work for 14 hours straight how can solve big problems.

  • LESSON 3 Fall in love with the process, tortoise will beat the hare in the long run
  • Instead of trying to push yourself hard in the short term, changing ur identity and slowly becoming better is infinitely better for the long run (not like i will stop pushing myself but u get my point). I started thinking of myself as an athlete and as an entrepeneur, and now i rarely have to push myself to exercise.

  • LESSON 4 You dont need a degree.
  • After coming across this thread by @RHL, it definitely destroyed my old slowlane belief about getting a degree. If you instead of charging for your time, you charge for an unit sold (service / product) you can make easily 10x more. Really got me thinking because i do need a hustle to make some money. I want to do reselling on ebay because that is easy, but it doesnt matter what i want, the market decides. I might aswell do car paiting.

  • LESSON 5 Video games are a waste of time
  • Common man, do you want to be known as a guy who plays video games. Dont be silly. Video games are not real. It is false feeling of progress.
  • ive spent few hours selling everything i had in vdieo games for irl money so i got atleast something for the 5000 hours wasted... Oh god.. Never again. Now with the money i will buy unscripted and mlf. (yes i was reading them for free until now, sorry MJ)

  • LESSON 5 By giving up porn you are giving up nothing
  • Ive started reading easy peasy porn hackbook and i reliased, theres nothing to give up really. I always struggled with it because i felt i was giving up on something.
  • more and more i read it, i realise that is not the case and you have nothing to gain from pornography.

WEEKLY GOALS
  • 1 hour of procastrination a day (setting bar low because i feel i can achieve it now)
  • Talk to 1 stranger
  • Program 2 hours a day
  • Exercise 4x this week, do balance exercises for the knees

NEXT WEEK GOALS
  • Exercise 4x / week, more balance exercises
  • Talk to a stranger
  • Look for a side hustle.
  • 1 hour of procastrination / day (this time i feel positive i can achieve it since i have no video games to play now, screw you old me.

by the way, for anyone reading this, for some reason i cannot edit the first post in this thread (posted by me) any ideas how can i edit it? Or can you edit your post just once?

By the way, thank you @heavy_industry for all the time you took to give me really good advice. We will have instense leg day together one day. :)

Thank you for reading

WEEK 6

  • STRUGGLE 1 The grass is greener syndrome
  • I have really good idea for a physical product, but then boom i get another (on first impression) even better idea. I really dont know what should i do. My first idea sounds way more unsexy and way more of hard work (Good for ENTRY i guess)
  • I can think of 100 excuses why idea #1 wont work and 100 excuses why idea #2 wont work, can you guys share how you stay on track and dont chase the shiny objects?

  • STRUGGLE 2 im too comfortable, too comfortable to have a FTE
  • I know this is going to sound extremely arrogant and unemphatetic, and it will definitely make some of you mad. Maybe i dont know what im talking about, but im sort of envious that you guys had a terrible life where it was so bad you had FTE and risked everything to get unscripted .
  • Not like its an excuse stopping me to work, but sometimes i wish for something to push me, there is fear holding me back, im too scared to take some risks and very distracted (dont worry im making massive improvement and im way more productive, than ever)

  • LESSON 1 Smell nice and care how you look
  • (i didnt really wanted to include this but to be 100% honest, here u go lol)
  • I always wanted be that sigma male, the "i dont care what people think of me" type of guy. But now i realised how extremely important looks are, and how stupid i was.
  • I hadnt shovered my hair that often ( it was really bad lol ), well this week i decided to take extra care of my looks, smell and clothing and the difference was massive. My friends always made some funny comments about me (semi bullying to be honest) and now that i take 20% more care, it all dissapeared, 0%, NONE.
  • Literally no one messes with me now. Everyone is extremely kind. Maybe it was just luck but damn, the difference is MASSIVE.

  • LESSON 2 Business does not last forever
  • The discussion started in this thread and thanks to the replies i reliased that your solution will eventally be worthless.
  • I have good idea in mind but it will be useless in 50+ years... So what, you can still make shit ton of money in 50 years. MJ's limos.com will eventually will be worthless ( i mean uber took over but you get me)
  • if you have perfect solution for tires in cars, your solution will become worthless in 200 years when there will be flying cars, someone took over and skewed value even more.
  • dont get discouraged tho, you can still make alot of money and solve big problem.

  • LESSON 3 Be reliable
  • You should care about what people think about you, dont be a people pleaser but please dont be a dickhead aswell.
  • My reputation as a student is really bad, im that unreliable kid that is always late. Do i want to be viewed that way? Heck no! Im doing my best keep promises and come in time. You should too

  • LESSON 4 Dont brush your teeth too hard
  • I brushed my teeth too hard and i uncovered me tooth root. Dont do it it is unpleasant experience

  • LESSON 5 Focus on your identity
  • Recently i kept struggling with gym consistency, it was because i viewed myself as someone who is inconsistent and isnt an athlete. Im dong my best to change that, now without even realising i had great workout AUTOMATICALLY, my inner bitch hadnt even got a chance to make an excuse.
  • Also my pullups now increased from 3 to 5. Progress ladies and gentlemen :bicep:

WEEK 8

sorry for missing week 7 update, ive been super super busy. Got some cool stuff to share though.

So basically @Ian Thompson (you might be familar with his ad on this forum, basically his service to help you with bringing your physical product to reality)
and was offering to consult 5 people for free. And i managed to be one of them! (talk about probability manipulation heh)

After some back and forth i offered him to make a website for free and he accepted! (first time doing web development lol)

And he even said he would pay me for it! (holy shit first $ after a year of get rich quick schemes, feels good!)

By the way his service seems really really good. if you have physical product in mind, id definitely check what Ian has to offer. Fastlane ad here

So.. yeah, i will be doing web development to build side cash for my business. (its not CENTS but if i could charge 2k / website whitch would take me 2 weeks, i could survive for half a year ==> tons of time)
So yeah, im really considering buying @Fox 's course for $750 seems like a steal. (i dont really have any expenses so i would be ok with not making money for a year)

Heres what i made so far!

Alright so quick summarization
  • Got my first website client
  • Had a school vacation for 3 days (it was lit)
  • Went for testicle check-up again (everything was alright thanks god)
  • After being in the worst of all enviroments i succesfully havent eaten a single food containing added sugar!!
  • Watched porn (i know i know, im reading easy peasy to help it)
  • Got distracted and scrolled on instagram for the last 3 days, so i uninstalled it.

WEEKLY GOALS
  • Do balance exercises and get on bike more often for my knees.
  • Exercise 4x / week
  • Finally decide what to do as my business idea. (still no idea lol)
  • Talk to a stranger once

NEXT WEEK GOALS
  • Exercise 3x / week
  • Finish Ians website and finally have a call with him
  • Balance exercises
  • finally stop action faking

To be honest im starting to doubt myself alot. But im still pushing. I never had FTE (not like its an excuse, but i do feel comfortable and not willing to sacrifise everything) Maybe ill be action faking for couple years till everything comes crashing down.

Thank you for reading :)if you are reading this give me 20 pushups

I really appreciate the shout-out and even more I appreciate the kick-a$$ new website you're building! Looking forward to our call :)
-I started riding my bike, to then go skateboarding in my local library's parking lot... Every day around 6:30AM I've never felt better! It's a great way to kick off the day! Make your exercise fun, it's way easier to do! Also great job on no sugar, I do the same... I really can tell how bad I feel if I do eat some! Good job!
