Just came back from the dentist.

Some 20 year old root canal has failed, I have an infection that could become problematic, and I need to have it redone.

I have gold crowns.

The procedure is essentially redoing the root canal, but involves drilling through the gold crown and an hour full of BS.

The whole idea makes me want to puke.

I asked to see if I could get sedated with general anesthesia and get knocked out for the whole procedure.

He said Yes, it's expensive, and it involves a 3rd party.

I asked how expensive (thinking $1000, 2000 and being onboard with whatever the cost)

He said about $500.

I said sign me up.

Now I do not have to endure this ordeal and its pain.
