Building My CENTS Business... But Which Way First?”

Hey there,

I’m 27, from Serbia, making $650/month. For the past 7-8 years, I’ve been learning different freelance skills and studying business.

Recently, I read TMF and Unscripted, took 70 pages of notes, and learned a lot, especially about chasing needs, solving problems, and creating value instead of chasing money.

I have several ideas: SaaS, Ecommerce, and local businesses. Some, like a manga/comic cafe, require huge capital. Ecommerce is tricky because Stripe doesn’t support Serbia, so I'd need a UK/US company, plus high import costs, taxes (50% locally, ~20% for LTD/LLC), and border fees.

One of the doable local ideas I have is an all-natural whey protein—everything here is full of artificial junk.

As for SaaS, I’ve tried coding and hate it. I could learn, but it feels like a grind, though maybe that’s an excuse.


So, should I freelance first to build capital and grow an agency, go into local Ecommerce, or just bite the bullet and code?


I love writing, but I’m aware of the “do what you love” myth. I want to build a CENTS business and go Fastlane—I’d really appreciate some advice.
