I've been blogging for about 4 months now and this month (Sept 2023) has been rough. After graduating high school, I finally released my blog which I've been stockpiling articles for a year now. I didn't expect much cause I know it's a grind, but in my first month of blogging, I got 25 views and 2 readers, nice. In the 2nd month, I got 128 views and 87 readers. The third month I got 134 views and 67 readers.
So far so good, everything is going nice, my backlinks are growing, my domain authority is climbing, I'm dropping 2-3 articles a week, and I did my first guest post. And then on the 27th my site hit a new record, I got 53 views and 6 readers, but ever since that day, it's been bad. The next day everything plummeted for no reason. My domain rating which was at 23 shot down to 3, I lost backlinks, my cpc is in the negatives, and now I'm lucky to get even 1 view I'm not sure what happened. I was doing everything right and was on an upward trajectory.
And the reason I'm writing this is because I have to renew my hosting plan on the 23rd, and this loss has demotivated me a lot so I'm not sure if I should call it quits and try something else or invest more time into this. What do you guys think?
