Billy Mays and lead generation

I thought it was interesting to see Billy Mays (I think that's his name) doing a commercial selling health insurance. The commercial refers you to icanbenefit.com which is a lead gathering site for health insurance.

It's a very simple site where you enter your information and request to be contacted by someone. Almost too simple.

Does anyone know how much they charge for these leads and who they are selling them to? I know on the back-end, insurance agents pay in the range of $8 per lead for a lead that gets shared with at least four to five other agents. If they want the lead exclusively I think they pay about $20+.

The reason I'm asking these questions is I know a little about the industry and insurance sales is my back-up plan if the economy decides I should change businesses. Maybe it should be lead generation.
