No one really cares what you wear, just be comfortable whatever it is.

Yea yea yea, I thought it would be a cool way to give something cool and business related out. Darius could give out mini hookah pen, Kak could give a good cigar, I could give out some fishing stuff, someone could bring a good book, etc.

Last year, the presentations were recorded (unless specifically requested not to be from the presenter for privacy reasons), but they were not made available to anybody who didn't attend. If an individual decides they want to share their own presentation, that is up to them.

I recorded everything from last year and shared very strictly only with attendees.

There were also quite a few EPIC presentations where the presenters did not wish to be recorded where we gladly respected their wishes.

Unfortunately I am not attending this year but I do hope if someone volunteers to record again that they also respect the wishes of those presenting. It would be a great injustice to see any recording made public (even on the inside) without the presenter's express permission.

I have a "camcorder" now, I can bring it, although it has no remote like Jasons. I dont want to pack a tripod though.

I think we need a dedicated laptop this year so we don't need to keep plugging in laptops into the projector after every presentation.

Perfect, yeah a dedicated laptop would be good, if someone local had one that'd be great. I mentioned it to @JasonR and @AndrewNC that they need to start collecting power strips and extension cords. that seems to always be the hassle is having power for laptops/tablets.
