Hi,

what do you guys think of the future of entrepreneurship? Will there still be chances for small companies or do you guys think the big ones (Google, Aamzon, ... ) will have huge advantages.

For example, if we look at Alexa. If Amazon decides to build more and more own brands and will just show their own brand to the users, the chances for small businesses will become smaller.

How do you think about this? Am I thinking to negative?

Google and Amazon already have huge advantages over small businesses. They do today. They will tomorrow. How will you be different or better? One thing I've learned from peering into the future is it can be scary. If you let the idea that X or Y might happen make you afraid, then you won't make very much progress.

Where can you fill a space that they can't? What can you do now that will be worth your time? If you look at where the world is going, entrepreneurship might not make much sense in the long long long run. But right now you need money to survive.

No matter how tiny your business is, you can lead the industry if you have what the other companies don't.

If you were a cycling enthusiast, would you buy cycling gear from Amazon, or a website/brand/community online that you are an active member of, and that provides regular and free advice and resources for you? One that's run by avid cycling fans?
