I know I'm slowing down on my thread starting, but I've been struggling with this question for a few days now.
I've read around 30-40 self-help/motivational books and it seems that the content has reached an apex.
In my opinion, after the richdad series, Think and Grow Rich, The Law of Success (600 pages), The Go-Giver, and the Richest Man in Babylon, the content of most other books repeat themselves. It seems that after one reads those titles (and a few others), there is simply not much more to learn in the area of motivation/goal setting/ etc.
Of course, someone could argue that while Romantic Dramas are nearly entirely based on Shakespeares work, people still watch and enjoy them. However, I can't really see that connection with books.
Don't get me wrong;
Allow me the hint of arrogance (NOT ignorance) when I say that I have read, know, and understand most of the "steps" to set, plan, pursue and achieve your dreams (after all it isn't rocket science, and everyone on this forum knows it).
Have you, MJ, or anyone else reached that point where it's time to leave the world of motivational/mindset books behind, and simply focus on books dealing with the HOW in making money (an example would be Ken Fisher's book, REI books, Investing books etc.)
At the end of the day, NO book can tell you how to take action on what you have now learned. That is up to the individual to take that next step.
PS: I'm still going to read MJ's book :banana:
