recently started taking brazilian jiu jitsu classes and went shopping for a mouth guard today.
I ended up buying these
I paid $3 more versus the regular ones of the same brand without the fangs. I could have even gotten some for half the price from a different brand. I bought these because of how I thought I would feel when I wore them.
I'm pretty sure that's what drives sales for "lifestyle" apparel. It's dem feels you get from it, not because it's superior quality (although sometimes they are better quality).
Does anyone run a business based off of this? Providing value by giving people dem feels? The concept if similar to this thread about story telling
