Hey Everybody,
So great to be here. I listened to TMF about a year ago and today finally decided to join the forum to get involved and seek some advice.
I'm 3 years deep into my journey; I've worked the last 3-5 years in hollywood doing various operational jobs, usually in office environments.
My goal overall is to create a content and informational product centered brand, with coaching.
Right now though I have a decent handle on my finances from working 70-80 hour weeks (45 regular, 15-20 uber, the remainder grinding on biz)
The thing that brought me to the forum is - I was laid off in october - well before COVID.
I got a generous severance and have had unemployment as well, and my finances are fairly well sorted.
However, I need to get back into the slowlane for a 9-5, to keep my money and my health going in the right direction.
I have some health issues that have accrued over the years from ignoring, and I have a decent amount of brain fog and fatigue.
What I really need is an EASY 9-5 so that I can collect a paycheck without having to do severely mentally taxing work, and then I can research and apply health solutions at night, and still work on the brand.
I've even done the math --
With a job that has health insurance covered, I would lower my rent to about 700-800 down from 1350.
Attached are my options for hourly pay, green = SAVINGS per month preferred options, yellow is not preferred but would also do.
This takes into account ALL of my expenses and the financial impact on my budget based on the hourly rate of pay.
My question to you all is: Are there any jobs (or strategies) you'd recommend that will enable me to find a 9-5 to keep the money coming, plus get insurance, is in an office or similar but is not super taxing?
Cheers fellas (and ladies).
So glad to be here!
** Oh, and if this is not the right place to add the question I can certainly repost elsewhere!**
