Hi everyone,
my name is Pietro, I'm 19 years old and I come from a small city in Northern Italy.
I don't know what I really like, I have a lot of passions, but I'd say that the biggest one is to learn things about every kind of stuff. I've learned English, almost all by myself, in order to be able to communicate with people from all around the world.
Last year I finished high school. My parents really want me to start college. So I spent the last years struggling to choose the best university for me. It was a really hard choice, but at the end I subscribed to a business and economics university in a city near mine. I think it's interesting because all the lectures, exams etc are in English, and it's more focused on international business.
I'll study there, but I'm not doing it only to gain the graduate title, I'll do it to learn how to manage a business, which will be my personal one.
The branchs of things which I like the most are travel, video making, cinema, art, books, food, sailing and fashion. I really love Italy, I think that it's the most beautiful country in the world (sorry) and I'd like to make something to improve how people from other countries see us. Maybe something about turism here or a "Made in Italy" clothes brand which sells online.
I've never known what I want to do when I'll grow up. When I was younger, I was panicing when I was thinking about having a 9-5 job which I don't enjoy, and not being able to actually enjoy life. I was sure that it was the only path existing. I thought that, as soon as I started working, I would have never been able to be happy again.
So I started surfing the internet, looking for other ways to live, and I found out about Shoe Dog, by Phil Knight. I was amazed. After this book I started to read biography of successfull people and books about entrepeneurship and business. I spend most of my free time on learning about these things on internet.
I just finished to read The Millionaire Fastlane, and I feel like something changed inside of me. It's definetly the best business book I've read so far. I subscribed to this forum to find like-minded people.
My goal for the next year are to:
I wish the best to everyone who reads this, especially to @MJ DeMarco
