So I still have a 9-5 as a software engineer while I'm building my SaaS side hustle. I saw online that LinkedIn marketing could be really good so I wonder if I should start building an audience there as I'm just getting started (not even an idea of what I'm building yet). The thing is that I love building, and I know a lot about AI so I could be sharing stuff and getting followers but the problem is that I have a lot of connections that are in my 9-5 job like co-workers, even the VP of engineering, and I have my current employer listed on my linked in profile so it seems risky because I'm honestly scared that if they see that I'm building something else, that I could lose my job.
I can't really affort to lose my job and go full in right now, I have my house to pay still, and yeah I just can't afford it but I see all these guys saying that you should post on LinkedIn as much a possible, and that could get traction to your SaaS. I don't know 2 things:
1. Is it actually true that it's good and it could help grow the SaaS just by posting on LinkedIn
2. Is it risky for me to lose my job (I think it might be).
Does anyone have an idea and maybe faced a similar situation at some point?
