I've read your posts on and off, so sorry if this has been answered before.
How big is your market?
Who are your closest competitors?
How are they doing?
How do your products compare to theirs?
My general niche market is valued around 0.6 to 1 Billion in 2024, with a Compount Annual Growth Rate of 15% in the next 10 years.
I've got a list of other ecommerce based business that are my direct competitors, they have some products that are similar to mine and others are definitely worse in terms of design and quality.
Then, in the same general market there are business that are worth up to hundreds of millions, but they sell other types of product that are way too much hard to engineer and build, out of my league. I don't see them as direct competitors.
I know many of my direct competitors are doign good, but I don't know precisely how much good they're doing (of course better than me lol)
I still don't know how they are doing marketing, looks like all of them are basically a ghost on paid channels and don't regularly post on social media so much.
One thing I know that I could definitely improve, is that many high-value products of my competitor are built with CNC aluminium, not mine (mostly high quality 3D printed pieces), but only for now.
I'm not in the position to invest yet in custom CNC pieces, especially for the low volume I could afford right now, but all my designs are CNC ready so it won't be hard at all to switch.
Of course, my products are still "cheaper" than other competitor ones, especially for this factor.
Then, feature and design wise, I feel and know that some of my products are way better than other competitors ones.
