FWIW - I have roughly 30 mostly locally focused businesses. Roughly 40% increases, 40% the same 20% decline. For me, this is more movement than usual.

Oh yeah, I see what you mean. I just checked several of my sites in several different cities and I have moved up to 1st on the 1st page in everyone of them except 2 and now mine are 3rd on the page where they were like last and next to last on the 1st page. Content seems to still be kicking backlinks @ss!

My guy that runs a marble & granite business (I get 2%) told me that he has received more calls than usual so I guess maybe this is why, but I wouldn't have thought just moving up the page mattered that much. I guess it does.
