Welcome to the forum, Mr. Ryford. I hope you enjoy your stay here as much as I am.

Regarding your business, I am wondering if you have considered making it possible for people with glasses to cut their own hair too? A while back, when I was interested in cutting my own hair. I quickly realized it would be next to impossible to do so without having my glasses on or wearing contact lenses.

Sounds like a wonderful product. I pay 80 for a full hair cut and groom and it lasts only 3 days. Then it's like I need another trim to keep the same look. IT would be nice to have something on hand that I could do myself to keep the same buzz.

Welcome Ryford!

Welcome to the forum. Love the low key modesty here of not mentioning you were on Shark Tank! haha

I'm actually a fan of yours. I remember hearing about the Cut Buddy a few years back when I was looking at building an app for Barbers. (that business is long dead and gone).

Awesome. I've literally been fighting the need to get my hair cut every 3 weeks. The last one was $60.

Been trying to get my gf to learn how to trim but wait, there's a better way!

Looking forward to learning more about the business as well as the product.

Welcome! I once wanted to learn how to cut and open my own shop. Nothing beats hanging out at the spot. Sadly I keep the head bald but I do see the need for people to do their own cuts. I won't see you at the summit but I hope to hear about your speech and hope the business keeps at it.

As someone that cuts my own hair... This is an excellent business.

Most think that cutting hair is some voodoo science only for the studied hair stylists... Don't let that occupational license BS make you think it is harder than it is.

I have not gotten a hair cut at a barber in over 2 years. Although my wife does the neck line for me.

Kudos to you @Ryford Estores for helping make this a lot easier for people!

I do a bit of a longer style than is popular right now and I comb it daily. I go with a 5 or 6 on the sides blending to a 6 or 7 near the top... Then cut the top with scissors. I originally got the confidence to do this because I knew I could have a pro fix it down to a shorter style if I screwed it up.

It is to the point now where I think I get a better haircut than I otherwise would.

Am I missing something or did @Ryford Estores also invent the Cut Buddy? If not, I don't think he was on shark tank

No that was my good friend, Joshua who invented the Cut Buddy. I almost got on Shark Tank, I made the top 150 finalist out of 40,000 applicants. I'm glad I didn't go! I'll tell you later :)

Welcome Ryford!

Damn is it now $80 for a haircut? I haven’t got a haircut in almost 20 years now. I think I paid $10 the last time. I’ve been self cutting but mine is easy, just a #2 guard around my whole head.

That's total in/out price with tip. The haircut itself is $25, but I also get a bunch of waxes; nose, eyebrows, ear ... by the time I'm out of there it's 80 bucks. I look ten years younger every time I go, but the effect only lasts a few days as the buzzcut starts to grow back.

Yea, the rockstar/Axel Rose style is long gone. I may have one left in me before I hit the next decade of age.

Well....
I guess I'm still there.
I still like it long. I don't care what anyone thinks. I wear it long cuz I can.
$80 bucks for a haircut? Holy cow! I've been spending the same amount on minoxidil just to keep it on!
Crazy what we do for self-preservation or is it deeper than that??

Really cool stuff and I can see why it would work - I cut my own hair using a three door medicine cabinet and the way that they angle looks exactly like your product. I use a handheld mirror to help get some of the other spots.

I'm with @Kak here and think more people should cut their own hair. Once you get it down (which is quite easy, can always go to the barber afterwards for the first 1-2 times for corrections), it's a simple skill that stays with you for life - saving you $20-$50 a month or more. Especially for men with simple haircuts, it'll take less time per month to take care of than shaving.

I have just visited your website. Great products, Ryford Estores.

My grandfather often uses hair clippers to cut his own hair. But his hair doesn't look good and I am his barber now : ). Haha he may like your products.

Welcome to the forum, brother.

Hey Mj! Have you ever cut your own hair?? Or even give yourself a simple buzz cut??

Yes, I did for 25 years. I still do on some occasions, I have some type of Remington shearer and usually just slap on a size 1 gate.

This is an awesome idea. I use to cut my own hair, and I would see advertisements for a tri-fold type of product all over the internet. Not sure if it was your system or somebody else's.

I was too cheap to buy the real product (broke college student), and I refused to pay ~$30 every week to stay fresh (broke college student).

So I went to Home Depot and bought a couple of really cheap plastic medicine cabinets with the folding mirrors. And Voila! Ghetto-rigged tri-view system to cut my own hair. Once I got a job, I decided I DESERVED to have someone else cut my hair. Today, my barber is more like my therapist. My weekly visit to him does so much good for my soul, AND my hair!

Haircuts are getting up there in price! I'm glad I'm bald and spend 10 cents per blade!

I keep hearing story after story of people who are butchering their own haircuts (or going without a haircut) now that everything is shut down.

Example: This youtuber:

Here's hoping that you're selling a lot of units!
