At the moment I'm struggling with learning to code. I'm not sue an audio book is as good for helping me with that as a physical book sat open by the laptop. I could do with a knowledge boost on selling. My Negotiating and closing game needs to tighten up.

At the moment I'm struggling with learning to code.

The First 20 Hours is a book about learning.

It has a chapter on programing and a chapter on typing.

Interesting. What did you take away from the book?

Also there's a great online course called Learning How to Learn: Powerful mental tools to help you master tough subjects that I really enjoyed.

Interesting. What did you take away from the book?

My takeaways:

The best way to learn is by doing. So, set up a project.
Design the project well.
Use focus and deep work.
Set up some sort of feedback mechanism, so you know when you're getting better and when you're not.
Use deliberate practice.
Use spaced repetition.

Also there's a great online course called Learning How to Learn: Powerful mental tools to help you master tough subjects that I really enjoyed.

I've heard good things about her course.
But, since we're talking about Audible, she has three audiobooks on learning.

However, my favorite audiobook on learning is Make it Stick.

The entire book is summarized in its final chapter which is about two hours long.

Just started Good Profit yesterday...

Also recommended by @GPM in another thread ~ thank you both.

Wonder if MJ read it...talks about value/customers/employees so much and so many other great things thus far. Really an awesome start to what I hope becomes a top read.
