Guys and gals,

This forum is the best place on the internet. No doubts. Ever.

(Let’s all take a moment to thank @MJ DeMarco for creating this freakin’ awesome place and the moderators who are helping him in maintaining the freakin’ awesomeness)

On this forum, you will find resources on basically how to go from living in your parents basement with little (or) no money to living wherever and however you want with boatloads of ‘F*ck You’ money - with the side effect of people looking at you like Superman for adding value in their lives.

I told you it’s an awesome place, right?

But there are some people who read THE books and come to the forum thinking that MJ and other legendary fastlaners have hidden a magic formula in the forum’s pages, that when stumbled upon, could stratospherically change their lives.

Flash news guys:

This forum and the books are not the treasures, but a map to finding the treasure.

Yes, a map. In MJ’s words, a roadmap.

Let’s imagine, for a moment that you stumbled upon an old, almost torn yellow colored paper by some 'God-only-knows-how' chance.

You open the paper carefully to see what it is and find that the paper is actually, a map.

After a close examination, you realize it is not just any map, but a map that contains directions to a treasure chest hidden beyond deep seas and huge mountains in some godforsaken historical ruins, diligently guarded by a gruesome monster.

In that instant moment you realize that when you find the treasure, your life is going to be MEGA. Dreams of world travel, private jets, unlimited supply of cash, champagne and chicks [Dear women entrepreneurs, insert what you like] are no longer dreams but a reality within grasp.

It's all warm and fuzzy inside! You literally couldn't stop smiling.

Well, who else can in this moment, right?

But instead of putting on your adventure shoes and embark on the treasure hunt journey, you keep looking at the map from various angles each day and every day hoping that somehow the treasure will find a way to reach you.

Sadly, this is what most of the guys do.

Thanks for the reminder.

I was actually very disappointed when I got a peek into that previous thread's OP's mindset.

I'll be quite harsh to call it 'entitled'.

If there was one thing Fastlane taught, it is that the things that most folks think are their 'world', such as jobs and 401ks, are just part of a bigger picture of the economy that gives us prosperity.

We just need to know how they all work, and know the seasons and the places where our work can be rewarded better. That's a higher degree of awareness.

How could I walk away after learning about how we get our jobs, how money and market demand come together and so on? Back to what...ignorance? It's pretty insane.

I'm bit busy to write long paragraphs now, but I really wan't @MJ DeMarco and all other contributors to know that for someone like me, who's just starting out, this is a goldmine. And for anyone else too, broke student, multi millionare? Doesn't matter, You can learn here and You can contribute here.
It blows my mind that I have access to information shared here. Like if someone brags that he didn't gain anything.. "Go and get a job!" Like, really, You won't be entrepreuner.
It blows my mind that people from different starting points are sharing what they are doing, how they are doing it. Others are assisting, helping, sharing their experiences.
This forum and both books beat any other book I've ever read. I'm really grateful for everyone taking their time to contribute to this forum, It's really insane how much value can be found in here.
Thank You all!

I need to be reading this post every day of my life.

It’s so true, I get so hyped and so motivated but then I instantly make a list of things I need to wait for to happen before I begin working on it. My priorities are still waiting for the stars to align. To have that monster come a little closer.
Thank you sir! And this forum is what I have been looking for. For a long time, I have friends that are “becoming” entrepreneurs that always point fingers and never hit ground and actually work and screw up and try again. Toxic. But now I’m here, let’s go!

Thread MARKED GOLD, I couldn't have said it better myself.

A must read for everyone.

You have the map. Now go get it.

And just because the first time you sailed the ocean and didn't find the treasure, doesn't mean you give up. You continue. You try again.

If anyone is curious what thread the OP was referring to, here it is:

I'm done waiting to be rich, LOL.

Utter FN cringeworthy.

I can’t stop saying how awesome the community really is.

To see that for yourself, go read any Progress/Execution threads.

Here, I'll show you an recent example:

NOTABLE! - Website Feedback - Dog Related

Read the thread?

Nice! That’s how good the forum really is.

When a member encounters a roadblock in their business, they post here to get feedback on how to counter the issue. Other contributors who are facing the same problem and few who already crushed a similar problem and went on to make millions, offer their feedback.

Some times the feedback will be harsh because the forum is known to say the truth as it is.

No Sugar-Coating

So some don’t listen and go out with their ego hurt while some put the feedback into action and go out with money in their bags.

The best part….?

The contributors here don’t expect a single dime from you. They help you for free.

Yes, you read that right.

They help YOU to build YOUR million-dollar business without expecting anything in return from you.

Now you may be thinking in disbelief, ‘Who the hell does that for free?’

These folks here, do.

All they want is, to see you succeed in your venture and you leaving breadcrumbs for those who are coming behind you.

Isn't that wonderful?

There’s a reason why some people have LEGENDARY CONTRIBUTOR badge under their username. They are the ones who did and continue to do so what I just said above.

And there are some who are on their way to becoming a LEGENDARY CONTRIBUTOR.

In short - the forum is determined to help those who want to be helped. The only question is, are you determined to go after what you want?

I used to just read and read and read and read and never do shit

Started doing shit and now I really only read when I hit a roadblock and need a question answered

I love reading but you have to find a way to translate what you learn into action, otherwise it's no more useful than trivia about The War of 1812

I had to step away from the forum for most of 2018 after being here for a few years to work on taking some action for a change. It's such a goldmine here that it was too easy for me to get shiny object syndrome. I would actually pay thousands to stay in this forum!

Feels good to be able to start coming back in here now though, but nothing beats action. Still only scratching the surface however but feel like the landslide is just beginning.

I suppose what I'm saying is there can be too much forums and fb groups and not enough action, which was something I was really guilty of for quite a few years.

It's known as Mental Masturbation

It feels good to read all the success stories and get dopamine hits constantly and feel like "aha!" every couple posts

But it's not until you actually start doing shit until you realize what the reality is

It's slow and uncertain, unlike the highlight/execution thread where you can go from ground zero to $20k/mo by reading for 30 mins.

That felt good - but now you're on your computer staring at an empty Excel file and you just feel like an idiot

But you just hack away day by day until you start understanding what you're doing

I think the vast majority of people don't have the psychological structure to handle this type of uncertainty and crippling doubt and turn it into something productive.

I'm thankful I found a way

True. The dopamine hit took me a whole year once I started taking some action. And even then (now) it wasn't much of a success to write home about. Have to remind myself daily to just try embrace and hopefully enjoy the process. Only making peanuts still but at least I'm working for myself now.

Entrepreneurship can be lonely. Even if you have employees, they aren't really the right people to be discussing business with. The forum is a great place to commiserate with others who are walking the same walk you are. It's nice to know that you aren't alone and gone crazy -- there are others around the world fighting the same fight.

The Action is what was missing for me that whole time. And sometimes I am still forgetting about that and doing that "Mental masturbation" by reading posts here.

I used to be lazy and game addicted but a friend of mine recommended me the book "The Millionarie Fastlane" and after reading this something broke in me. But... I've found a lot of excuses why I can't do it and went back to the work routine (ahh damn).

After 6 months I wrote an email to MJ DeMarco with some my ideas problem ect. and he actually answered me, which was a big suprise for me since I didn't expect that (thank you for that). I was suggested to read "The Unscripted " and because English is not my main language, I had an excuse. But I did it. It took me a long time but I've manage to do it. A lot of translations, trying to understand the sense of sentence ect. but it was worth it. Really awesome book that broke some of my "super excuses" and action-faking.

It hasn't been even a year since my first contact with this kind of mindset and even though I am still struggling with beliving in myself after 24 years of wasted time and anxiety, my brain is slowly changing direction and I am hoping to get to FastLane.

And it's all because of that these Books and this forum.

It's really precious that people and places like that exists.

I don't know where I am going to end but I know for sure that I will remember MJ DeMarco and those things for the rest of my life, since it has already shown me, that there is another way and it changed my life.

I just wanted to say thank you.

This is right on point. I come across so many people that don't take accountable for their decisions, whether those were made 10 years ago or 10 minutes ago. It's always someone or something external. I was listening to a podcast this week that spoke to this. They observed that too many people are powerless because they've given away all their power to act by blaming external factors for the poor condition of their lives. That's why I love the people in this forum. No excuses, just roll up the sleeves, get to work and make it happen. You should all be proud to be a rare breed in the world today.

I said it many times on the forum already, but no matter how many times I say it, I know it will never be enough to express my gratitude for this forum and particularly for @MJ DeMarco.

This forum should become a World Heritage Site; it's that significant to the collective interests of humanity.

EVERYTHING you need to succeed is here - if you're only willing to take action. This forum has changed my life to such an extent that I would sound like a mythomaniac if I were to talk about it all.

I often catch myself thinking: how is this possible? It feels kind of like being in a movie. My mindset has changed so much that I think like a completely different person. My life is so much better than my original vision that I created many years ago when I was starting out and hoped to make at least $5000 a month from my online business.

I'm not saying it to brag (hope it doesn't sound like that). I'm saying it to tell you guys that this forum simply WORKS. If you truly, deeply desire to become FREE, this is the place to be. Contribute, learn from others, and keep working on your business and sooner or later, you'll reap the benefits.

Even though the information that you get here is largely for free (Fastlane INSIDERS subscription costs a bit of money, but it's well worth it), don't treat it as such. Value it as if you were given advice directly from your favorite entrepreneur. The map you get here is worth billions. Don't be dumb. Use it!

Reading and learning is easy. Taking action is tough.

I don't know why that is, maybe it has something to do with the concept of self-sabotage, where your subconscious mind tries to prevent you from being successful, because it doesn't like change.

I've just spent the last 2.5 months going through 3 different big-a$$ courses.

Now I've learned enough and it's time to take action.

This is the point where a lot of people either just give up or decide to pick up another course, and another, and another, using the excuse of "I need to learn more", to avoid the hardship of taking action.

I've taken action before, and though it's not easy, it has potential to be rewarding (when your action succeeds), and you just have to remind yourself that action is where the gold is.

The excuses, negativity, blame are key traits to people that are "losing" or not progressing. Until these people get some self-awareness, take some blame and get some control back, they will always be waiting for someone else to carry them across the finish line. Guys like that will probably be signing up to several courses and complaining he's not a millionaire after clicking the first download link.

Love MJ DeMarco but I don't usualy like those memes, I know people who are on hourly rates who are doing very well, and I know people who are on salary and don't have shit to there name. Some people are on insane salaries but are just drifters.

There are lots of exceptions, these memes are a "fun" generalisation. Its good for some self-awareness.

Dan Pena is the man. As a rule, you should take 3x more action than you take in information.

If you read 1 hour a day, take action at least 3 hours a day.
If you watch 2 hours of some course a day, take action at least 6 hours a day.
So if you read 3 hours a day, take action 9 hours a day.

Don't have too much action or too much information, either. You need both. But don't get caught in the "proactive procrastination" trap that a lot of people do, where they just read, read, read, and never take any action. Action is always your highest leverage point.
