Greetings to everyone here! I'm a guy who recently turned 18 and devoured both of MJ's books. The Mindset part was a really life changing experience in terms of what I want and what I'd like to do in my life. I always liked leading and helping people, I also enjoy looking for solutions because I'm living with a gut feeling that every problem can be solved with ease (even before I read the books).

I finished High School in Germany and currently study "Fitness Economics", a degree that aims to make you able to create a Gym (or business in general) and teaches you about things like law, service management, business administration and also a part health/anatomy/training. Meanwhile I'm working 40h per week in a Gym (full slowlane mode) with a horrible salary. The good thing about it is that I talked to my boss and he agreed to coach me about the daily tasks of a business owner, creating a business and things such as leadership. I also learn sales/management and copywriting skills from other team members.

The gym is in a pretty expensive area, thus the people that come here are often business creators or wealthy people in general. It's a big joy for me to connect with them and most of them are super friendly and willing to give advice or motivation. In general is the environment really motivating because it shows me everyday the things I want later on such as having a lot of free time to do things I enjoy (cooking new things,travel, training my friends, having dogs) and some materialistic stuff like nice to see sportscars.

My actual purpose/drive comes from the wish to be able to help my mom, be able to take the steering wheel and be responsible for myself (aka not do what I'm told but be in charge of my system and create a helping environment).

I also "found"/ thought of a CENTS based service that focuses on scholars that are unhappy with our current schooling system. All I need to do is focus on learning along the way and execution as results don't come from doing nothing. I would still consider myself as a wantrepreneur because I still lack taking consisting action. Probably because I havent had a big FTE yet... and my current situation is pretty comfortable so I gotta slap myself and work on generating that everlasting unstoppable drive.

Also gotta re-read Unscripted .

I'm looking forward to the next 5 years and I'm happy with myself as I'm improving each day and quitted a lot of the unimportant "slowlane" habits. I'm hungry for the journey and I'm happy to contribute to this forum. While I may not be able to give y'all business advice I can give you some no bullshit fitness and nutrition tips as I lost a lot of weight, know a lot about weightlifting and helped multiple friends improving their eating/training/physique. Thank you for your time and have a nice week!

Greetings,
Jan

Hi Jan and welcome to the forum.

Nice to see you so stoked. To find MJ's books and resonate with them so early in your life is fantastic.

Are you a native German? Your English is faultless.

All the best and enjoy the forum.

Yup, native German but I had a great teacher, several english main acts in dramas and I played a LOT of online video games that basically forced me to communicate in english. Most of my recent books are in english, same goes for podcasts, youtube,Netflix, blogs etc.

Thank you!

Hallo Jan,

Mit 24 Jahren möchte ich "in Rente" gehen und ein traumhaftes Leben führen;
Mein Problem?

Whats in for you?

{I also "found"/ thought of a CENTS based service that focuses on scholars that are unhappy with our current schooling system}
