Answer as many of the following questions as you feel like answering (or just answer the title question):

What does it do for you, what problems does it solve?
How does it work, what features does it have?
How does it help you save time/money/energy?

I would love to hear how a completely reimagined would solution look like, which means I'd appreciate not thinking in terms of existing tools, although that's fine and acceptable as well.

If you're already using some tool, what is it missing?
What could it do better?
Are there any two or three existing tools you would merge to get there?

What is more important to you, simplicity or completeness of features?

As I said, answer whichever one of these you like, any answer is appreciated.

Thanks.

Do you upload all of that content yourself, or do you source it from somewhere?

About sending the offers, I guess the initial sending is automated and then you handle any further chat/discussion yourself? Or automate as much as possible with a bot?

Thanks!

I upload all my content, pics/vids etc.

Chat is managed by yours truly, there is most likely a way to do it although its just a one man army atm.

Sent out 100 messages manually a couple weeks ago

Maybe there is some software out there that I'm unaware of, although for now its ok, will run into the problem later with scaling and manage when that happens

They're all walled gardens.

Conditional logic: Give me some hooks and meta keys and let me sort out the details, with access to all of the functionality of the social platform.

Give the core service away for free, then upsell pre-packaged task specific "plugins."

What is more important to you, simplicity or completeness of features?

Documentation and tutorials. It will also help your SEO

A piece of software that eliminates the need to use social media entirely. I should be able to turn it on and let it do everything, just answering questions form the software about what my goal might be(followers or impressions etc.)

I see, so you're in favour of automating as much as possible, and not even opening social media at all?

A tool that would allow me to do my marketing via blog posts. So, a website that allows anybody to contribute blog posts and has a huge in-built audience (which does exist in the form of Medium).

But, one huge difference to Medium:

Instead of discouraging people from using the website as a lead-generation tool to drive readers to their e-mail list, this website would encourage writers and make it easy for them to do so. Essentially, it would serve as one huge lead-generation platform.

Instead of trying to pay writers (which comes in pointlessly small amounts), this website would simply say: "Hey, write here because it's the best and most convenient place to grow your e-mail database". Obviously, the website would be built completely around that idea.

Hmm. Not really a social media tool feature, but I like your idea. Like Medium but for building an email list. That might work, people write their best content when trying to attract email subscribers.

Sorry, it seems that I misunderstood your question. I guess you were talking more about tools like Hootsuite, TweetDeck etc., huh?

I don't use any of these. Whenever I try to do that, it feels too 'automated' and audiences immediately get that you're just posting automatically synchronised content all over the place. I guess that could be a problem to solve...

P.S.

I just realized something. I am a blogger and eventually switched from using my own blog to using Medium exclusively. Why? Because of the in-built audience and because it makes it possible for me NOT TO waste my time managing all kinds of social media platforms and still drive decent amounts of traffic to my blog.

If you could solve that problem somehow (no idea what a solution would look like) that could be a valid business idea.

Well yes. If I'm not careful, I create an automated 'feel' even if I'm posting everything manually. There is standard methods of detecting this automation, which some humans can trigger. Fail positive, this tells us how to reverse it to make the automation see more human like. (Actually two to three different solutions)

. I guess that could be a problem to solve...
.

Fairly trivial to pick one channel, write up a spec outsource to some coders and load up a working prototype with your content. There was a Twitter AI recently that was publishing it's thoughts on an authors books and few realised it was an AI. Doesn't have to be anywhere as complex with a human in the loop though.

Why? Because of the in-built audience and because it makes it possible for me NOT TO waste my time managing all kinds of social media platforms and still drive decent amounts of traffic to my blog.

I'm guessing a syndicator (bot like buffer that pushes to other social media) in a more human fashion.

Ironically one of my other interests is a better bot detection system that effectively puts me in an arms race with myself.
