Market cap is price x circulating supply. Market cap is what the cryptocurrencies are ranked on - So, Bitcon is number 1 as it has a market cap of $240B - Market cap is the projects valuation in fiat currency.

Many people think that a coin with a low price can grow more than a high coin price, which is completely false. Take Verge for example, there is currently a circulating supply of 14.4B XVG tokens and each one is $0.22, which gives us a $3.3B Verge market cap.

I've seen countless people say they cant wait until Verge reaches $100 a token. I mean, if Litecoin can, why can't Verge?! Well, it would need to grow 45400% percent - These massive figures are possible in the crazy-crypto-world. But this would give verge a market cap/value of $1.5 Trillion. Only $100 a token, but a valuation of $1.5 trillion. Extremely unlikely for that project.

Another example is Ripple. Only $2.36 a token, yet has the second highest market cap. Can this really grow 10000% easier than VeChain (or other big projects with much lower market caps). Who knows...

Basically, what I'm trying to say is this - To get an idea of a projects upside potential you need to look at the market cap, not the price.

i dont know what you mean, i didnt say anything you mentioned....was talking about Chances and i dont apply financial/stockmarket knowledge, its cryptos, some cryptos can dissapear tomorrow... i also dont know which of the coins i mentioned have a low market cap...... I mentioned also XVG because wraith protocol is coming out today and it can double the price....
a 3 cent coin can jump to 3$ more easy than one from 300 to 30000 because its cryptos. I wanted just you to be aware of the coins because you can make money. if you know the outcome of any coin then please share that we can make all money! Salute

I’m going to wait and see what happens basically. It’s still massively undervalued. It’s a top 30 coin absolute bare minimum, so once it gets past that (or if haha) I’ll think about selling for something else.

yeah, going also heavy in TRX soon because is backed up with great investors and great announcement are ahead, if you didnt know the CEO of TRX worked for Ripple haha ;D

Ripple was 3 years ago 0,005 lol no one expected this.... so if you only check market cap you will maybe not ride the wave

The total marketcap might not increase as much as it did though. It might have even peaked for all we know.

I was trying to buy it at like $3, but CoinBase took like 8 days to make the bank transfer. Still got in at $9.50 though, so not that bad.

One of my top holdings is ENJ, a utility token in the gaming industry. I really like the project, it has a great team, solid roadmap and it is a company well established in their industry. It is still flying under the radar but I don't think it will be for long. If you are looking for a solid project to hold medium to long term I highly recommend you guys to take a look and research this hidden gem.
