Why is this for MJ, out of curiosity? There are literally thousands of visitors per day on this forum. Did you ask the question of the poster that originally posted about the dollar crash?

London:
A crazed looking man with greasy hair screamed "Knawledge!"
before detonating his explosive vest. Nobody got hurt.

Waco, TX:
A group of middle aged wantrepreneurs drank
a poisenous cocktail and died subsequently.
Before, they raised the limit of their credit cards and
mumbled something about a "Rich Dad", according to witnesses.

No, I don't think it will go the way of the dogs!
I think that either the system will just bail out banks, issue unfair (at least for us normal folks) hacks and 'go-free' cards to vital finance or conglomerate sectors to keep running.

Or at best introduce other forms of currency. If I can remember, Zimbabwe went to use other foreign currency like the USD and post war Germany at first got 'Allied' currency before they settled down into their various West and East blocs, in which both sides also administered their respective currencies.

Nah, it won't go to hell. But then again, notice that those in power have the absolute right to print whatever currency they like. If a SCRIPT is destroyed, it can be created again.

If you want some idea of what to expect, take a look at present day Venezuela, Argentina in the early 2000s, and the Soviet Union in the early 90s.
Good examples, but IMO, both aren't democratic systems to begin with.
At least with one, the USA can correct policies and systems although it ain't gonna be perfect. But in socialist/communistic countries, there's so much control given to the higher-ups that they are likely to exploit the system than give leeway to the authoritative mechanisms in place even in a crisis.

Interestingly, the Soviet Union used more ways of currency such as 'selling' unwanted people like religious ministers and artists or via the black market bartering. And there's some factories between the North and South Korea (Kaesong Industrial region) where North Koreans work for South Korean companies for wages...which are paid to their government...as of April 2013 from Wikipedia, $90 million a year to the North.
Kaesong Industrial Region - Wikipedia

But whatever form of currency we use, I think they will always be value vouchers. And value is always created best by the UNSCRIPTED framework, be they in the form of foodstuff, clothes, tools, vehicles, etc. :) I mean, people always pay for value, right?:rofl::rofl:

I'm not saying there won't be a crash but the idea of an imminent crash is always present since the beginning of man. Fear is always a good method to control the masses and their behaviors. As for trillions in debt, go look up how much taxpayers spend per year. Trillion is a lot, don't get me wrong. Just make sure you understand the balance...

Are you really going to let fear of a possible, unknown economic event keep you from building an Unscripted and Fastlane life?

Baby steps, my friend. Have you already set yourself up to NEVER have to worry about working for another employer? If so, you are doing better than 95% of the people around you. If not, then start there. If you want to waste your time thinking about Armageddon AFTER you arrive, then that might be ok. I used to waste my time like this. Its expensive and produces NOTHING.

This topic is only concerning if you find your entire security, identity, and value in the wealth you have accumulated.

If you are confident in your abilities and skills, and find fulfillment through family and the things that truly matter... even if the worst thing happened, it wouldn't devastate you.

Yeah I'd be really upset if I lost my business, any wealth, my house, whatever. But I have my family and my community, and I'm confident enough in my own value to know I could make it back. If the worst happened.

Stock market crash and economic downturn don't always means all businesses crumble, anyway. The economy must go through periods of expansion and contraction. It's healthy, and keeps businesses running lean.
