Hi everyone.
I have been a member of this forum for a while now, but more so a lurker. I have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge so I read all the Gold threads constantly. Your posts always have logic and are straight to the point without being harsh. I respect that.
After having a good schooling from this forum, a few months ago I partnered up with an extremely good sales guy, to start my first REAL business. I'v always owned my own jobs. So through months of planning we decided on a services business, We had almost £0 capital so we made a business through selling a service then using independent contractors to do the work. The work came through commission only sales people. So again no upfront cost.
The last couple of weeks it started to make money but my partner doesn't really have my vision or the understanding of giving value etc. The problem is he understands only the systems he has been taught/brainwashed through a network marketing sales company. So I have decided to leave the business because I know that its not what I want and I can build it bigger, better and brighter on my own without giving 50% away. Now though I am a bit lost and overwhelmed. If you have any advice for me it would be greatly appreciated. If there is anything I can do for you guys (although I suspect there isn't) please let me know. I'm happy to answer questions if anybody feels there is any lessons they can learn from this.
