Carry on.
Love the idea. I've been doing similar stuff using Google Analytics and it's a bitch to keep up with.
Some links don't register with the system. My anchor links make the main page frame scroll down on click and won't register the div. I tested a restaurant landing page but the reservation button won't register and just opens a new tab. After that happens I have to refresh the software page. I can send you the link if you'd like.
Let me be honest. What's the difference between this and VWO?
With Clicktrait we have simplicity in mind.
I believe that A/B testing should be fast & easy.
You can literally start an A/B test in under two minutes.
Another feature is the Click-rate chart. It immediately shows which A/B test is most successful.
We've also implemented a screenshot feature that takes a picture of each A/B version -- you can look back and learn from past experiences.
Finally, the heat map mode allows you to see where users click on your page, for each A/B version.
Which in my opinion is SUPER useful -- I am able to see how users react to version B and version A separately.
It definitely is.Great stuff. Simplicity is king.
I just started using VWO in the last few months as Google Analytics started to get underwhelming, and I like the ability to make changes on the fly quickly without launching an FTP client. It definitely is.
Are you using VWO yourself now?
That's good to know!I just started using VWO in the last few months as Google Analytics started to get underwhelming, and I like the ability to make changes on the fly quickly without launching an FTP client.
For sure! I'd love to use it on a site we're just about to relaunch for one of my local ventures. That's good to know!
Would you be interested in comparing Clicktrait and VWO in the near future?
It'd be great to know your opinion
Cheers!
Ilya
Sounds like a solid plan. For sure! I'd love to use it on a site we're just about to relaunch for one of my local ventures.
Only gets about 1,500 hits a month, but they're highly-targeted leads. Gotta make them count -- gotta optimize!
I've sent you a PM.Any reviews copies left? I run a few Shopify stores.
You may be right and I respect your opinion.I work in this space. Unfortunately I don't see why anyone would pay $50 for yours instead of paying to Visual Website Optimizer... VWO is really simple, I don't think you can use simplicity as a selling point for people that know something about CRO and those are the ones who stay subscribed, not the new guys who think that a button color will increase sales by 20% when they have 500 visitors/month.
