I read this thread and there was pretty interesting discussion about ethics in business.
I wonder where you (as a business owner or a customer) draw the line between ethical and unethical business?
When does good marketing turn into unethical practice?
When a good sales tactic becomes a scam?
In the world of dietary supplements using Dr. Oz's name created some controversies recently. Is it unethical for sellers to make it look like Dr. Oz endorsing their product? Is it ok to mention his name in the sales copy (Dr. Oz recommended this ingredient on his showed aired on xx/xx/xxxx)?
What about asking friends to buy your products and leave reviews afterwards? Harmless or Cheating?
How do you feel about breaking FB or AdWords policies and hoping you don't get caught?
Can you run a business and be 100% honest and following all the rules to a tee? I'm curious what you think.
