This video is great.
@MJ DeMarco ... I think you'll like it, and have similar concerns.
@ZCP ... What if you did this for your own channel? Could you create a resource that could help more people? Can it pull out ideas and content for new videos?
I'd been doing this a little bit in a more manual way and can attest that having an AI that's trained on videos from a specific person is very useful. I'd been using a Gemini Gem but maybe NotebookLM is better.
I also started doing this for Zoom transcripts of my own calls with prospects, forum members, and clients. I'm wondering about the 200+ private videos I have up on YouTube. They're often over an hour long and are confidential calls I had with people.
1) Matt shows how to grab the URLs of all video on someone's YouTube channel, import the URLs into NotebookLM, and then have your own AI version of that person to coach or advise you.
2) Matt seamlessly shows he has a more detailed written document to follow inside his community. As a business owner or budding business owner you should pay attention to how the video adds value and how seamless he gets people to move off YouTube to a platform he owns.
3) What's the wider implications of posting our best thinking on YouTube and other platforms? Are we training AI and not just helping people who watch our videos (without the goal of them becoming clients for instance)?
4) Can we create AI versions of ourselves just by uploading recorded calls we have with people, that aren't necessarily public on YouTube? Can those be protected behind a paywall, or made available to our team?
5) What's to stop folks creating trained AI versions of people and putting them behind their own paywalls? At what point is it no longer adding value to others and plain old stealing? Is it when you charge for their free content the issue, especially if you don't attribute it?
