Stuff like this makes me depressed. Why bother creating stuff that will help people and improve their lives when what they really want is self-destruction and indulgence.<br />

This is an example showing that the "help people" mentality isn't always true. Imagine all the incredible value that's shared on Substack. Thousands of experts in various domains, including very lucrative ones like finance and business, often helping people make thousands with a single piece of advice. Yet, Substack generated 50x less revenue than OnlyFans which (arguably?) provides zero productive value to society and if anything, contributes to its destruction.<br />

From the pure entrepreneurial perspective, why bother trying to improve the world where there's so much more money in appealing to the most basic, even if self-destructive, instincts?<br />

2) The market pays for what it sees and wants to pay for. It's not about what we want, how good we are, or how much effort we put into our product.<br />

It doesn't depress me at all. I love that we don't invoice for input. And I love seeing all the crazy ways people *earn* money. I love seeing all the huge YouTube channels in crazy little niches. 10 hours of rain sounds? Whaaaat?!?<br />

3) She showed her ankles and *earned* money. Smart. Did anyone else think of that? Did anyone have the gumption to do it? Are a load of other people going to do it now? Will they earn as much or will they all be lesser copycats?<br />

4) I'm not out to change the world. Just make a dent in my little corner, and help throw a few starfish back. Whatever happens, I'm not letting other people affect my mental health. <br />

5) Are those young men celibate by choice or because they don't get out and have no social skills? Either way, evolution will win and those societies will die out. Maybe there were tribes that decided celibacy was the way forward. Guess we won't know because they all died out.<br />
