I don't believe so. This is not the floor, it may be the most foolish time. Bitcoin could be at 16k tomorrow and if you bought today you'd lose a ton of money.

Right now we are having a liquidation crisis that normal rules dont apply. Parallel period is may 2021 or March 2020.

The problem with crypto and defi now is that there is too many staking and leverage, for yield farming.

When you have margin call you have no choice but to sell your assets. When everyone do it together its a quick downward spiral.

This explains why ETH is falling faster than a lot of sheet coins because ETH is the mostly used and recognized collateral.

I am getting into fiat now and waiting for the bottom that no one expects, that comes in 1-2 days.

When market is insanely cheap, do you have cash to buy or you are already holding the bag?

The lender ones are screwed. I would imagine a traditional exchange would be just as liquid as normal. As long as there are buyers and sellers on both sides of the transaction, things march on.

The people who borrowed the bitcoin are pretty happy right now.

obviously but literally no one can tell you when or what the bottom will be. I will be buying some in the next couple days and continue to DCA during the bear market. I can't believe what an a**hole I was shoveling money into this during the bear market hah.

I'll say it again. If you don't hold the keys to your own wallet you don't own the crypto.

If you leave it on an exchange you are basing your holdings on their good will. If you own crypto move that to either a hard wallet or a paper wallet!!!!!

If he has the means to just keep stacking, in 5 years time he is going to be wildly successful. Short term yea, it's rough.

What's crumbling if you ask me is FIAT. That monopoly money only has so much life left.

It feels like that with everything, though. Stocks, crypto, fiat -- it doesn't really matter, wealth is evaporating. Obviously MJ is right about a Fastlane business being what you need (see his post about that), but it's tough to have nowhere to put cash without taking a huge loss. Real estate is overpriced but might hold value better than other investments??

I’m biased and think this to be the case … yes. Most of my money is in RE. Hope I’m right.

Oh I know. I don't have much in crypto and have been telling folks in prior posts that it's not Fastlane. Cash is king for the moment (even as fiat rots) and I believe starting a Fastlane business is priority if you can.

He has his a$$ covered.

The crypto are on the company’s balance sheets. And the company has been issuing corporate debt to buy btc.

So worst case just wind up the company.

Heads I win, tail lenders lost.

Smell like Trump and Kiyosaki playbooks for business…

I think the bottom will be in when major exchange announced a cease to halt trading to stop the capitulation.

Rumored that it happened it in 2020 march when btc was at 3k.

There is the theory, that the cycle repeats every 4 years according to the Bitcoin halfing. A bit exacter: now 4 years monus about 6 weeks. I ve done my investments according to that and it nearly allways fits.
Btw: Beginning of June I prognosted eth to be at 11 k in the end of June. I didn’t trust myself and sett stopplosses. Now as last weekend I could have earned much with shorts, but no, my stoploss pushed me out.

Now ,ook at the eth chart 4 years minus 6weeks ago, you will see a flat till September. So I expect eth staying at 11 k +-x for 3 months.

Why 5 years? Psychology is the same as 5 years ago, so will be in 5 years. So one can believe or not, that the bottom will be reached in Oktober or November 2022. from December 2023 the crypto mc and courses will go up, until the hype of 2025.
2026 will be the year of the crying, as as goes down again.

We are entering unchartered territory as BTC is born at the same time when QE just started.

Central bank always could ease because inflation was manageable. Not anymore today.

So we never had a history of btc under very hawkish monetary policy.

For the past few days we have seen how extremely btc valuation is reliant on easy money and cheap money, that the threat of taking that away could tank the market.

Don't really care. Prices go up and prices go down. I don't day trade crypto and have a strong belief that there's a spot and use for web3/crypto in the future. It's down right now and it might even go 90% more down. But I believe in it and don't stress. I've got my picks.
