I'm a freelance graphic designer who has been working with drop service agencies on their projects as a white label contractor, and it has been fantastic so far. With many posts here about starting a business in drop servicing, I thought it would be interesting to hear from someone who handles the fulfilment for a change. Here's why I love working in this business as a freelancer.
I don't have to source for clients and can focus on my work as a graphic designer.
This is big for me since it takes a lot of time and effort to find clients. By working with drop service agencies I can leave the lead generation and client acquisition to them, and instead focus on doing good design work — it's a win-win situation for all sides.
Having someone handle the client side of things means the feedback I receive has been processed by them, so should be mostly constructive and related to progressing the project.
Depending on my schedule I have the flexibility to work with different drop service agencies at the same time, allowing me to earn more income.
All in all the drop servicing business has benefitted me a lot as a freelance graphic designer, and I will be seeking out more drop service agencies to team up with from here on.
