I find talking to those who are business minded waaay more interesting than talking to those who aren't business minded.

You got me though. I don't have *any* opinions about sport, politics, or religion ... never mind interesting opinions.

This means they don't know you very well and you don't trust each other.

When you are in the public eye (unless you are a politician, though even they are fakers), you are FORCED to hide your actual opinions and beliefs.

Otherwise, they will be used to attack you and tear you down.

The primary goal of a business is to sell to people and make them happy. That's why this person is being very "generic" to you: they don't want to offend you, they want to give a good impression, and they want their "brand" to look good.

It is necessary for survival.
