Where do I even begin? - starving artist needs direction

As my skill has grown, my income has dropped almost in proportion.

You've been doing this for 5 years. The more time you put in, the worse it gets.

Sometimes it's just time to throw in the towel.

Move on to better things. Make art a hobby. Stop trying to force it in an industry where the odds are stacked against you ... unless of course your only goal is to get an art job ... in which case that shouldn't be too hard.
