I would disagree for sure, only talking about forum itself whenever I ask a question sincerely people do respond no matter its PM or a thread
Exactly, this is a purposeful forum. In real life situations, you gotta bring some value to the other person before asking for something in return.

People don't understand the concept of compounding knowledge. Even if you fail a lot in your first years, that information will serve you and put you ahead in front of your peers/competitors. That information is only for you.
Lately, I've been feeling even more alienated from the world than usual (saying something since Im an Infj), and I blame it all on compunded knowledge. It's all rather ironic really, Infjs going about with Ni hero, soaking in information, while they hav NO clue about what other people are up to(te trickster), and one of the largest inferior complexes around due to Fi Critic.... Then suddenly one day you realize, the race you imagined everyone was a part of - most of the people never even got out of the start gates.

Rnd tangent would be to read the book Curious - the desire to know and why your future depends on it.

“What important truth do very few people agree with you on?”

1. Execution is NOT everything

2. No one wants to admit they are wrong

3. Almost everyone is selfish

I was a little unoriginal in my previous post, focusing on business/money stuff. So here's random stuff:

1. You don't need hiking boots on most (easy to medium) trails. You don't need shoes at all on most easy trails.

2. Speaking of shoes, if you're wearing flip flops, you might as well go barefoot. It's healthier for your feet and actually safer than in flip flops. You're destroying your feet by always walking in shoes, particularly with good cushioning.

3. Nudity is normal and it's weird that people get offended by it (particularly on a long beach where nudists find their private corner and don't bother anyone).

4. Most cosmetics are complete bullshit, in the same way as most supplements are.

5. You can go without food for 24-48 hours and you're not going to die and it's not a huge accomplishment. If you feel "hungry" every three hours something is wrong.

6. It's okay to never want to have children.

7. Vasectomy is one of the greatest investments you can make.

That is exactly what someone who is part of the global conspiracy would say though.

If I were a part of the global conspiracy I would encourage people to come up with crazy ideas and laugh at how far away from the truth they are. It would make a lot of sense to even fund these ideas to give them more legitimacy (particularly if they're well off the mark but quite convincing).

I've got one truth to share that everyone seems to agree with but almost NOBODY follows:

"Time is the most valuable currency."

Many people here, as financially wealthy as they are, seem to have completely forgotten about this in their lust for more.

If you're working 16 hours a day on your 7-8 figure business, perpetually stacking money in the bank in an effort to satisfy your ego, you're not financially free. You're more enslaved than your friends who work in construction.
People that keep growing their 7-8 figure businesses do that because they like that. They want to spend their time at work. It's a choice. Not everyone wants to spend their free time on a beach doing nothing or "relaxing".

Alright, let me rephrase that.

I've got one truth to share that not everyone seems to agree with.

After all, that's the point of this thread, right?

I got it but your truth is based on a false premise, everyone enjoys their time in a different way.

What's funny is, you just confirmed that: "Time is the most valuable currency."

No matter how you nitpick it apart, it is still true though.

If you spend it on the beach with loved ones, or in the office alone working 10 hours... it's both time spent on something, something you enjoy. Thus making time the most valuable currency.

For those wanting to spend it with loved one or on the beach/mountains, that's their most valuable return on that currency of time.

For those grinding at the office, building the 7-8 figure business is their most valuable return on that currency of time.

If you are dead, you have no time. And thus can not do either ( or anything you find valuable or rewarding ).

I was about to point that out but then realized I didn't have to engage in yet another forum argument.

I didn’t explain correctly maybe. I said “your truth is based on a false premise which is that you shouldn’t spend time working on your 7-8 figure business because it seems time bad spent. For me, the correct premise is everyone enjoys their time in a different way.”

not sure if you meant this or I misunderstood something.

The best opportunities lie in old-fashioned, "outdated" industries where there are not a lot of new people willing to take on responsibility.

You should probably get a job to learn domain knowledge.

1) I believe in reducing prices not increasing them. I’d like to make my main product or service free and make money another way. (I’m a big fan of “Free” by Chris Anderson.)

2) I believe in intentionally growing a personal brand. I think a lot of forum members neglect their personal brand, and many even look down on those intentionally growing their personal brand.

3) I believe selling coaching and/or courses is NOT for those who can’t do. I believe “Those who can’t, teach” is BS trotted out by those who’ve never taught. I believe teaching a man to fish is an honourable endeavour (and damn hard).

4) I believe in still doing the work rather than outsourcing or delegating - **IF** it’s what you want to do. There’s business models nowadays that enable solo techies to build million dollars businesses (likely with the help of a few VAs and freelancers).

5) I believe there’s nothing wrong with putting ALL your free content on other people’s platforms (so long as you have a backup).

Super curious what @Lex DeVille would answer.
Thank you and all the other OGs who have stayed on this forum for years.

I know there's a lot of repetitive questions and people always come and go...

But you guys stay and try to help others.

I've met a few of you IRL and it's honestly a blessing. Even when it's not related to business, but just about supporting each other and having fun with each other. Blessed to have some of you guys as friends!

Another one: most theories and guesses about what’s going on in the world are not “conspiracy theories,” and the simple fact is that most information out there is not public knowledge. Yes, confidential information exists, and yes, groups of people make plans that are not shared with everyone else.

Every company has private meetings (duh). Every government has top secret info (double duh).

To me this is obvious, to everyone else, pointing this out is like having three heads.

not saying you should or shouldn’t care - different subject

On further research, a "conspiracy" is a secret agreement or plan to do something illegal.

Secret agreements and plans that do not violate the law are not considered "conspiracies."

But, that says nothing about when the laws are rearranged to assist in doing something totally wrong from a moral standpoint. And many times it's perfectly legal to do something downright atrocious, particularly if the person doing it holds political power.

Great question, here's my 2 pence.

1. Socialism is fine, looking after the vulnerable and sick is not a form of weakness or evil communism.

2. Donald Trump was a dangerous idiot who isn't that great at business.

3. Luck is a thing.

4. Being an entrepreneur isn't for everyone.

5. College is not a waste of time.

6. Following your passion is sometimes the best course of action.

1. Reading about others people's success (FLF execution forums & biz case studies) is generally giant waste of time, IF your goal is to start a business
2. Buying instead of starting your first business is much better for most new entrepreneurs in the US
3. You should hire personalized (business coach ect.) help when starting out in business
4. Self-awarness is most important skill for all entrepreneurs, not marketing, sales, or coding.
5. Starting On-Line Freelancing is one of the worst ideas for new entrepreneurs.

Think and Grow Rich is actually a solid book with quite decent principles.
Haha, I actually think most of the forum members agree with this. I certainly do, it's one of the top 3 books I recommend to beginners. Though I do see your point, there are some vocal opponents around :p

Mine is: you don't need to be a great businessman to be a great business coach
