A miracle is when something that is thought to be impossible, is accomplished.
We all here on the Fastlane are always thinking of the impossible. We are constantly testing and conquering the impossible and making them miracles. We do this buy never giving up, never saying no, and always asking How.
Sometimes we create a miracle that has been done by someone else, but because others (maybe even yourself at sometime), thought it couldn’t be done by you, it becomes a miracle for You.
My first Miracle was my first real estate transaction. I once believed that I could not make money in real estate unless I already had money. I then started reading everything I could get my hands on regarding real estate investing. I found the Rich Dad forums and started talking with other investors, a lot of you here actually. After realizing that I could invest in real estate with little or no money, I started looking for something to buy. I looked for about 6 months before I got discouraged with the Pittsburgh market. Because I am a fighter, I quit my job in Pittsburgh and moved to Tucson Arizona. I had originally anticipated working for the same company when I got to Tucson, but when I got there they told me that they were only going to pay me Half of what I was making in Pittsburgh. I turned the offer down. I started looking for another job, knowing that a bank wouldn’t loan me money to buy a house if I didn’t have a job.
After looking for a job for a month and getting frustrated that I couldn’t start investing yet, the wheels started spinning in my head. I realized that if the deal was good enough, I would be able to bring the people together to make it happen. I started looking at properties, talking to Private money investors, and networking with other investors in town.
Finally, one day I found a great deal. It was something like 30% of market value. I got it under contract immediately. 2 hours later, I had the contract sold to another investor for $5,000.:smxG:
That was my Miracle. I had just done something that at one time I didn’t think was possible, and others didn’t think it was possible until I actually did it. This deal gave me the inspiration to ask “How†more often. And I did, and still do.
