Hello everyone,

Im 22 and currently active duty stationed in a small town kinda in the middle of nowhere. Im a complete beginner and was having trouble finding leads consistently in my area. The closest big city is the Dallas / Fort Worth area 2 hours away, should I focus on that market even though its going to be more competitive? Or should I keep it small and try to find leads in my own backyard?

Whats the population in your town?

Start with your own backyard, DFW is incredibly oversaturated. Feel free to expand to other neighboring areas where there is more growth, but I would stay away from DFW as you get started. It also depends on the level of systems you have in-place. If you are just getting started, beginning in your own area makes 10x more sense because you have the boots-on-the-ground work you can do (signs, door hangars, etc)
