What is the most awesome charity to give to?

Like, would it be better to print out (10) $100.00 Toys R Us gift cards and hand them out in a pediatric burn unit, or give directly to a charity?

I feel like I could use some good karma.

I get more satisfaction from giving locally. volunteering locally or giving and helping a friend that works at a charity. I know then that my effort is 100 percent received and appreciated. I get instant feedback and it feels great.

Giving directly means more than giving to an organization.

Likewise, receiving from a real person is more appreciated than receiving from a charity.
