I just finished reading "The One Thing" by Gary Keller. I'm done with business / self-help books for a while, as I need to execute and not mentally jerk off, so I'm going to read fiction instead.

I just ordered these books (in Italian) at my local library:

1) Neuromancer by William Gibson
2) Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov
3) 1984 by George Orwell
4) White Nights by Fedor Dostoevskij

Reading Tao Te Ching (or Dao De Jing) for the I don't know how many-eth time. I have multiple translations so that I can get a better sense of the original meaning. One of my favorites, and it applies itself well to business and plenty else.

I've finished The go giver and I didn't like so much, but I started to read Gorilla Mindset and I think that it's too much better. What I learnt about that is I shouldn't trust reviews about books from webs time like Goodreads, there tend to reflect other things but the the content of the book. If not, i don't know why the people gave almost 4.5 stars to the first and only 3.5 to the last one.

Loving this book...

Super Thinking: The Big Book of Mental Models: Gabriel Weinberg, Lauren McCann: 9780525533580: Amazon.com: Books

While it has a lot of info I already knew, it really hammers it home.

Written by the founder of DuckDuckGo and his wife who is a statistician.

It will be a Giveaway at the Summit as well.
DuckDuckGo is amazing

I'll start with the black coffee and Indistractable. Bit of a common element connecting these books. I have quite a bit of free time at the moment and have done a 1-5-10 plan so now know where I am heading and better yet, how to get there.

I just finished listening twice to the Audible version of Unscripted to support what I read in the printed book. Great book.

I started reading "Atomic Habits" by James Clear.

No particular books but I am reading biographies and articles written on Chinese internet entrepreneurs.

Jack Ma’s speech to his founding team about the company’s vision. Thats was in 1999.

Shoe Dog by Phil Knight (audible version)

I'm about 2/3 done, and absolutely love this book so far. Phil is a very engaging storyteller, and I think there are some great lessons to be learned from him.

I just finished this book today! One of my favourite books by far.

There are definitely some life lessons to be learnt in his story. Inspiring story.

I'm currently reading Weapons of Mass Instruction by John Gatto. He talks about how compulsory schooling is destroying children. It's very libertarian, and I get kinda of a millionaire fast lane feel from the book. What I don't really like is that uses a lot of anecdotal evidence to prove his points. But I'm not even halfway in, so I hope there's more statistical data in the later chapters.

I'm reading The Emperor Of All Maladies and I highly recommend it if you have any interest in medicine at all, but also just to learn how to structure gripping nonfiction. It masterfully mixes history and the author's personal experiences, turning a topic that could have been dry and boring into something out of a HBO series.
