Certainly not an excuse xD I try and make all meetups on the weekends. I also work with a coach who acts as my accountability partner for the device I'm building. The project continues to move forward each week!

Hah. That would be quite uncomfortable, I only work with one person and the bathroom is right next to her work desk. I might be getting some weird looks!

I might be able to hop on. But certainly no guarantees. My lunch break start 15 minutes later. But I work with patients, and sometimes they like to take longer than planned. If you guys are still on, I'll try and hop on.

This week was a great call. Below are the things I can be held accountable for till next saturday.

I make a Website for ppc ads and Flyers.

I let my buddies hand out flyers for me and pay them per customer they get me.

Lastly, I will check if the postal service can send out flyers for me.

Overall it was a great call even though there were some technical issues on my end that cut things a bit short.

I should join these. I've gotten too comfortable in general, haven't been doing much. BFCM is coming up & there's some numbers I want to hit but I'm enjoying myself too much lol. I'm watching the thread now so I'll be on the next one.

Great meeting. Appreciate @ZCP for stopping by. Some very thought provoking questions to help expand my mindset on how to take on tasks.

I initially had almost focused on "what is the most important next step." If that was a task for someone else, I would be waiting for someone else to finish their task before I moved on with my task. That is a slow and reactive way of thinking.

Look multiple steps ahead. Can I(you) see what the next steps that are ahead and get those tasks ready to be complete so you are more prepared and can move your project along quicker by being proactive?

Can you offload any of your work on others to become more efficient?

For this week:
1.Meeting with designer/prototypes to keep him moving forward with the project
2.Re-write the script for marketing material(use AI to generate ideas, but make script natural)
3. Start learning how to write and file a PPA. If I can learn this before the prototype is complete, then I can file my PPA immediately.(Goal to fully learn this within two weeks).

If I finish two and three BEFORE the prototype is finished, I can move my timeline up by a few weeks and contact potential customers earlier.

So it's important, just not important to you?
If things need to be convenient for you to do them, this may not be for you.

Maybe you don't have time for the gym, do 12 pushups.
Maybe you are waiting for the designer, create the marketing flyer.
Maybe you know you will need some research next month, hire a VA to do it now.

Keep all fronts moving!

Its important to me, but I’m not going to skip school so I could join the call, and I’m not going to be that guy on his phone in a store in a call.

Simply put it, it’s not the most optimal time for me, and I have to weigh my options.

It depends, my schedule changes in the afternoon, and the school has a strict, I mean strict no phone policy, (afternoons I could be in gym period, art, science, French, etc)

If it’s in the morning it’s math English and religion.

Maybe I could sneak into the DECA program…


I could start bringing AirPods around when the call is soon and I have to be somewhere.

(My school would A: Suspend you for 2 days with your phone out or B: take it away till the end of the day, but I could just sneak into the bathroom, or use my breaks to hop on the call)

Due to this being an international call, it would work best for the largest number of people on weekends, as we have done in the past. Frequently changing the time and date as well as last-minute changes is the main reason for the fluctuation of people joining the calls.

Keep it the same time each week.

A Friday call at 6 PM Central European Summer Time might work for Europeans, but for people in the US, that has to be one of the most inconvenient times. Yes, if you can make it, do it. But for instance, I only could leave my job because I had a patient cancel. There is no scenario where I take a 30-minute meeting, have my patient waiting, and subsequently get fired. That would ruin my income stream which is funding my current ventures.

Some day when those people on these calls can go Fastlane and have full control of their time, we can take these meetings at any time of the day, but that is not always possible if you are currently slowlane or in a school that has strict schedules.

However, if you're not making meetings because you are hanging out with friends, you don't want to wake up early, or because you forget what time the meeting is, that is on you.

I like this. A good mental exercise each day to check yourself.

I typically ask, what is the one thing that I can do that is the most important and will move me the furthest along in my business? Although I like the question, as it helps me focus on the 80/20 type of work, it can also limit me and not move everything along further. Using both questions may help me better frame my days better.

For instance, I have a 3rd device I would like to move forward at some point. It is small and relatively easy. How I can push this work onto someone else as quickly as possible so it can keep moving forward would be really beneficial.

It seems like what we talked about on this week's call was more about how to think like an operator. A good frame of mind to have if you want to go Fastlane.
