Watch a jolly Brit start from 50 pounds in his pocket to 2700 in passive income in 7 days

Anything considered a "hustle" and not necessarily a CENTS-based Fastlane

Anyone else heard of Samuel Leeds (British real estate millionaire) or seen his undercover millionaire video?

He assumes a new name with no connections, moved to a new city with 50 pounds, a hotel room for 7 days, and a crappy car. The idea is that he's got to get some money in the bank or he'll get kicked out of the hotel.

Long story short, you get to watch a master as he hustles, find deals. solves problems, networks, and ultimately puts 8K pounds in his pocket and will make 2700 pounds per month in passive income.

I don't know enough about real estate to critique anything he's done, but damn. Look what happens when you know enough about something, and aren't afraid to get out there and take some chances.

I had thought this exact idea over with web design ha! Didn’t watch the video but its a great format for a business type channel - almost like a survive style show.

Will check this out later.

I totally agree. This would be an awesome channel format.

More than anything, I think my greatest attraction to the format would be the opportunity to see entrepreneurs "in the wild" as opposed to reading about them in books or in newspapers.

My learnings

  • He gets product then customers, interesting
  • This guy is awful at disguises
  • He says that he is surprised how hard it is (23.02)
  • The car breaking down is hilarious, now imagine if you have to rely on something like that (the uber instead requires somewhere more built up like Sheffield ( which also gives them the option to see multiple properties at once) I have to go to somewhere more urban
  • Someone with a decent car would never have had the luck of the mechanic knowing a good spot, because they would have never called for one.
  • Maybe I should try and get to Sheffield
  • He is willing to walk away even if it means losing an apparently
  • He is surprised at how hard the struggle is and he just needs £6000 to get free (I expected on the level of 100,000 or so)
  • For most employees taking a week holiday to work intensively (and use weekday where the the agents is available) might be better than trying to do something every day.
    • 1 day deal finding, set up appointments
    • 1 day viewing deals
    • 1 day networking
    • 1 day sell, sell, sell (Make the sell on the second day_
  • It is not do you wanna a deal, but whom do you know who wants one (ask 50 people)

  • Uses rightmove,gumtree.
  • He lies (pot of money @ 3.14) “yea we can afford it, , full of bullyes we are registered at companies house(did it that evening), “pretend payment” @ 31.02 “must be something wrong with the transfer, can you send the account number again (a modern day the cheque is in the mai)
  • WIFI and a laptop that can handle javascirpt/rightmove and a nice 3g smartphone is important at least in his approach.
Perhaps I need to lie and spew bull more often to make money. That asking who people know is gold though.
