two questions about niches

1. Is it necessary to buy a domain for every niche right away? Or is it ok to set up a free WP site,see how it goes and then buy the domain? And would it be hard to move the site and traffic to my new domain?

2. I'm experiencing with a niche.The product itself isn't out yet.But I put up some articles and videos about it.And some ads for other products of this company.The main problem for me seems to be getting backlinks.When looking with Market Samurai the only SEO competisions are news websites.And with the other products of the company it is hard or nearly impossible to steal backlinks from them.I decided to get the domain for this product and try it out just for the experience.Especially since I got the domain for 0.99$ 😀

Anyway if anybody has answers or advices about this then I'm all ears
